A passenger was removed from an IndiGo flight on Monday after he tried to open the flight's cockpit to charge his phone; news agency ANI reported.
The flight bound for Kolkata was travelling from Mumbai airport.
The investigation is underway as flight crew handed over the man to Mumbai police.
Last week, a Jet Airways flight wasturned back to Mumbai mid-air after the crew forgot to select switch to maintain cabin pressure leading to nose and ear bleeds in several passengers.
The passengers of the Mumbai-Jaipur 9W 697 flight also complained of a headache while 30 out of the total 166 suffered ear and nosebleeds. Oxygen masks were deployed.
The crew has been taken off duty and Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has started an investigation, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) informed, ANI reported.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has sought a report from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation over the incident.
Taking cognisance of the matter, the MoCA said that the crew members who were on duty for the particular flight are being de-rostered on account of the incident.
Another major incident raised concerns over flight operations in India after an Ahmedabad-bound IndiGo flight suffered tyre burst while taking off from Mumbai airport.
All the 185 passengers on 6E 361, an A320 flight, were reported to be safe.
