Shroff played the role of a hitman, Jackie, in the film that set cash registers ringing at the box office. To settle scores with a senior police official, Jackie is hired by a gangster to abduct the former's daughter. Jackie falls in love with the girl and starts to build a new life with her, away from the world of crime.
