Alia Bhatt starrer 'Raazi' crosses Rs 100 crore mark at the box office

This is Alia Bhatt's third Rs 100 crore film.
Alia Bhatt has cemented her position at the top with her first release of the year 'Raazi' earning Rs 102 crores at the box office. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film had Alia playing a Indian spy in Pakistan.
The film opened to good reviews from both critics as well as the audiences on May 11th.
Featuring Alia Bhatt in the lead, the film also starred Vicky Kaushal as her husband and Pakistani army officer.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that 'Raazi'is the women-centric film to have crossed the 100 crore mark. "#Raazi is the second heroine-centric film to cross ₹ 100 cr mark, after #TanuWedsManuReturns... However, #TWMR was a franchise, so it had a huge advantage... #Raazi is the first one to achieve the milestone without the tag of a franchise or commercial trappings... India biz."
This is Alia Bhatt's third 100 crore film. '2 States' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' were the other two films that featured Alia Bhatt and had earned more than 100 crores at the box office.
'Raazi', based on a book called 'Calling Sehmat' was co-produced by Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures.
