
Aiyaary starring Manoj Bajpayee and Siddharth Malhotra as Army officials finally got its censor certificate on Tuesday.
The good news was shared by director Neeraj Pandey followed by movie's official Twitter handle on February 6.
There was news of postponing the release of the film as CBFC had not given its makers the censor approval certificate. Reports suggested thatMinistry of Defense had some issues with the portrayal of the Army in the film.
Post review of the film by the CBFC, Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary had held a screening of their film for the Ministry of Defense on Saturday evening as instructed by the CBFC.

The screening resulted in a few modifications that were gradually accepted.
The film will now release on February 16, giving PadMan a solo release as it was initially clashing with Akshay Kumar starrer on February 9.
