Former Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ashok Choudhary who was sacked by party president Sonia Gandhi said he expected an honourable exit.

However, he said that he did not deserve the kind of insult that was inflicted upon him through his expulsion.

Choudhary was ousted from the Congress because he was planninga split in the Bihar Congress party, media reports said.

He added that though he was not willing to quit from the party at this stage, he would have to because the insult was not acceptable.

Claiming himself to be a "committed Congressman" he said he expected an honourableexit from the party post.
