Like last year, the government also presented the Railways Budget with the Union Budget. Jaitley started off by asserting that the Modi government “successfully implemented a series of structural reforms” that made India the “fastest growing economy.”
Jaitly focused on agriculture and health without making any changes in tax slabs. The prime minister said the Budget will strengthen the 'New India' vision because it is farmer friendly, common citizen friendly, business environment-friendly and development friendly.
As he spoke about the government's achievements, Twitter got flooded with reactions - voicing their own opinions as they saw the Finance Minister present the report card.

#Budget2018 Another disappointing year. No change in tax slabs. Would have supported @OfficeOfRG instead of @narendramodi in last elections ????????. Mistake being bhakth.

The same religious hue and cry over #budget2018 has become a tradition. Will be forgotten as soon as a cricket series starts.
