Dharmendra, the legendary actor, is no more. The veteran star breathed his last on Nov 24 at the age of 89, days before his birthday on Dec 7, when the actor would have turned 90. His last rites took place at the Pawan Hans cremation ground in Mumbai in the presence of his family, friends, and several Bollywood celebrities. Dharmendra passed away two weeks after he was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital. The family had maintained a low profile since the actor's discharge, even when rumours of his death surfaced. In a landmark move, the Supreme Court of India has instructed Samay Raina and three others to invite and host individuals with disabilities to perform on his show. Raina also has to use his popularity to raise funds and donate to organisations working for the disabled.

Popular comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina has been directed by the Supreme Court to invite individuals with disabilities to perform or appear on his show and share their sucess stories. The court has also asked Raina and three others to use their popularity and reach on social media to help raise funds for the timely and effective treatment of persons with disabilities. On Thursday, Chief Justice Surya Kant, addressing the comedians, said, “We hope and expect that such few memorable events will take place before we hear the matter next. It’s a social burden we are putting on you, not a penal burden. You are all well-placed persons in society. What is the controversy over jokes on disability? The court’s intervention came after multiple incidents of derogatory remarks around disability made on the comedy platform were reported. One major flashpoint was during the sixth episode of India’s Got Latent when contestant Santosh Patra performed jokes that belittled people with disabilities. Even host Samay Raina responded with a remark on Instagram: “To everyone who is outraging on Twitter, one request: Could you please outrage in my YouTube comment section so I get some ad revenue from the traction, at least.” What did Chief Justice Surya Kant say? On Thursday, as the case was heard in court, Kant said he understood that there should be a dedicated fund set up by the concerned ministry, and that this fund could be publicised to encourage corporations to contribute generously toward the treatment of persons with disabilities, including those affected by SMA. Kant said that the Court was placing a social responsibility, not a penal one, on the comedians, noting that they were well-established figures in society. "We hope and expect that such few memorable events will take place before we hear the matter next. It’s a social burden we are putting on you (comedians), not penal burden. Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 dropped on Netflix in India at 6:30 am on Thursday, and a surge of viewers led to the platform crashing for many. The disruption lasted from 5 minutes to 20 minutes for some, and the platform eventually resumed normal functioning. The overwhelming demand for the series led to the technical glitch. Not just in India, Netflix crashed for users worldwide due to the high demand of the series. Though the service recovered in less than an hour, glitches persisted for certain users. Many who logged in t the platform to stream the sci-fi series found themselves staring at a “Nailed It!” error screen that read- “Something went wrong. Sorry, we’re having trouble with your request. You’ll find lots to explore on the home page,” reported Variety. “Some members briefly experienced an issue streaming on TV devices, but service recovered for all accounts within five minutes,” a Netflix spokesperson told Variety. Stranger Things overwhelms Netflix Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that Stranger Things’ popularity has overwhelmed the OTT platform. When the last 2 episodes of Season 4 premiered on July 2022, the platform had briefly crashed. The streamer also encountered service issues during the Mike Tyson–Jake Paul fight, one of its first attempts at live streaming. About Stranger Things Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Stranger Things began in 2016 with the disappearance of Schnapp’s Will Byers in the pilot episode. The cast of Season 5 also includes Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, and Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair. The first four episodes of Season 5 are currently streaming on Netflix, while episodes 5 to 7 will premiere on 26 December. The series finale will drop on 1 January, 2026. Three people are suing the 66-year-old Kevin Spacey in civil cases at London's High Court linked to his time as artistic director of the capital's Old Vic theatre.

Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey faces another legal battle in London next year over civil sexual assault allegations, three years after he was cleared of criminal charges, a court heard Wednesday. Three people are suing the 66-year-old star in civil cases at London's High Court linked to his time as artistic director of the capital's Old Vic theatre. The star of "American Beauty" and drama series "House of Cards", who did not attend Wednesday's hearing, was in 2023 acquitted of a number of criminal sexual charges alleged by four men following a trial in London. Two of the claimants in the new civil proceedings were involved in that earlier case. Spacey, who has always denied any wrongdoing, won the best supporting actor Oscar for the 1996 film "The Usual Suspects" and best actor in 2000 for "American Beauty". But his once-stellar career was damaged by the various allegations of sexual offences, which first emerged in 2017 as part of the nascent #MeToo movement, and which he has always denied. In 2022, a New York court also dismissed a $40 million civil sexual misconduct lawsuit brought against him. All three of the claims in the latest proceedings "relate to alleged sexual assaults by the defendant (Spacey) of younger men he came into contact with whilst working at the Old Vic theatre, two as young actors", court documents said. The alleged offences took place between 2004 and 2015. One of the claimants, actor Ruari Cannon -- who was not involved in the 2023 case -- is also suing the Old Vic theatre. He has waived his right to anonymity. The other two claimants cannot be named. According to court documents, one of the claimants alleges that Spacey took his hand on several occasions and placed it on his (Spacey's) body while clothed. Details of the other allegations were not available. At a preliminary hearing at the High Court on Wednesday, Judge Christina Lambert ruled that the three cases be provisionally held in October 2026. Further hearings will be heard to determine the format, as prosecutionlawyers are calling for the cases to be combined into one single trial, while the defence said they should be heard separately. A combined trial was expected to take eight to nine days, while separate trials would take five to six days each.

<p>Miss Universe 2025 will go down as the most controversial year in the pageant’s history. A day after Olivia Yace resigned from her title of Miss Côte d'Ivoire, head of the Miss Universe organisation Raul Rocha responded to questions on how the winner of the 2025 pageant was selected. The Miss Universe 2025 finale took place on November 21, and Miss Mexico was announced as the winner. Olivia was among the top 5 finalists.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In a livestream — which has been reposted by several pageantry social media pages — Rocha discussed why he believed Miss Côte d'Ivoire was not crowned winner on stage in Bangkok last week after she placed in the top five.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Olivia, many felt, was among the top contenders for this year’s winning title. Miss Mexico’s win came as a surprise for many on the internet who were following the contest closely for the past month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Miss Universe executive spoke in Spanish as he noted that "there are many things that are evaluated" by the pageant selection committee. He then pointed out how citizens of Côte d'Ivoire require visas to enter 175 countries.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"She's going to be the Miss Universe who spent a whole year in an apartment because of the cost of the visa process with lawyers," Rocha said during the interview, as translated into English. "Some of them require six months' notice. The year's already gone, right?"</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Rocha also pointed out that a Miss Universe titleholder is someone who travels the most and “has the most contact with people in the world." He added, "If they require a visa in 175 countries, it's kind of difficult, no?"</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Rocha’s comments criticised by Miss Universe contestant</h2><p>Soon after Rocha’s video went viral on social media, Olivia’s fellow contestant Ophély Mézino — who represented Guadeloupe and placed in the top 12 at Miss Universe 2025 — seemingly responded to the head's visa comments on her Instagram Stories.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"Did you steal the money of my Afro-Caribbean girls? Did you let them compete knowing they would never win this competition? Did you let them participate just to speak about diversity and inclusion?" Mézino wrote. "Do you even read our biographies when we submit all the visa information?"</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Ophély also pointed out that she herself has a French passport in addition to her Guadeloupean one.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>She continued, "My heart is burning, I don't like injustice ... Are you trying to find a racist excuse for the fact that you didn't choose someone who was highly qualified for this job?"</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The beauty queen also stated that while the organisation boasted this year of hosting the "highest number of countries that have never participated in Miss Universe”, the head was discriminating with his stance on visas.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"You steal the money of small territories. You steal the hope of millions of people who don't understand why they are not in the Top 30/12/5," she wrote on her Instagram Stories. "This is the worst excuse I have ever heard."</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"I have followed pageantry for a decade now," Ophély concluded. "This is an humiliation, a lack of respect for the contestants, the families, the representatives who put so much energy into your brand. How can you disrespect those countries like that?"</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Olivia Yace renounces her title</h2><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Earlier on Monday, Olivia Yace distanced herself from the Miss Universe Organization days after she placed as the fourth runner-up in Thailand.</p><p>Yacé announced her resignation from her role as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania with an Instagram statement.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“I encourage them to push their limits, to walk confidently into rooms where they believe they do not belong, and to proudly embrace their identity,” wrote Olivia, adding that her commitment to this goal is the reason she has decided to resign.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“Stepping away from this diminished role of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania will allow me to dedicate myself fully to defending the values I hold dear,” the pageant queen said. “I call upon Black, African, Caribbean, American, and Afro-descendant communities: continue entering spaces where you are not expected. Let us open the way for the brothers and sisters who will follow us. Never let anyone define who we are or limit our potential. Our presence matters, and our voices must be heard.”</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>She also clarified that her resignation includes “any future affiliation with the Miss Universe Committee.”</p>

Miss Universe head Raul Rocha responded to speculations on why Olivia Yace, a crowd favourite at this year's pageant, was not chosen as the winner. Olivia renounced her Miss Universe Africa and Oceania title days after the pageant finale.

<p>The wedding of India cricketer Smriti Mandhana and composer Palash Muchhal has been surrounded by rumours ever since the event was unexpectedly postponed. The most talked-about speculation involves Mary D'Costa, with claims that her involvement led to the cancellation of the couple's wedding plans. The speculation escalated when screenshots of flirty conversations between Palash Muchhal and Mary D'Costa surfaced online. These images, which were allegedly shared by D'Costa on Reddit, quickly spread across various social media platforms.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In response to these circulating rumours, D'Costa took to Instagram to set the record straight. She clarified that the contact between her and Palash had been brief, lasting just a month from April 29 to May 30, 2025. She also emphasised that she never met Palash in person, nor did she have any kind of romantic involvement with him. D'Costa further explained that she had initially exposed the situation back in July, but the matter didn’t gain attention at the time. Additionally, she addressed confusion surrounding her identity, insisting that she was not a choreographer, nor was she the person Palash allegedly cheated with. D'Costa clarified that false assumptions were being made, which she wanted to correct.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>"First, the exchange of chats happened between April 29th and May 30th 2025, so the contact lasted for only one month. I want to make it absolutely clear that I never met him and I never got involved with him in any way. People have been asking, "Why speak about this now?" The truth is, I actually exposed him back in July, but no one really knew who he was at that time, so it went unnoticed," she wrote in a note shared on Instagram. "There's also been a lot of confusion about who I am. I want to clarify, I am not the choreographer, and I am not the person he cheated with. I'm saying this because things are getting mixed up, and I don't want people assuming the wrong things," D’Costa's post added. “I want to clarify, I am not the choreographer, and I am not the person he cheated with,” her post read.</p><h2>See the post below</h2>

<h2>What has happened so far?</h2><p>The wedding, originally set for November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, had been put on hold after Smriti’s father fell seriously ill and was hospitalised. However, things took a dramatic turn when Smriti deleted all the wedding-related posts from her Instagram account. This led to even more speculation, as her friends, including teammate Jemimah Rodrigues, also removed posts from the pre-wedding events.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Palash Muchhal, too, faced his own health scare and was hospitalised due to stress and exhaustion. Amidst all this drama, Smriti’s decision to erase traces of the wedding raised many questions about the couple’s future together.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Palash’s cousin, Neeti Tak, also took to Instagram to defend him. She urged followers to avoid passing judgment without knowing the full story. In her post, she emphasised that Palash was currently in a critical condition and asked for prayers instead of judgment. While the rumours continue to swirl, both parties are making efforts to clear the air.</p>

'I'm not the choreographer': Mary D'Costa issues statement amid Smriti Mandhana-Palash Muchhal wedding row

The wedding of India cricketer Smriti Mandhana and composer Palash Muchhal has been surrounded by rumours ever since the event was unexpectedly postponed. The most talked-about speculation involves Mary D'Costa, with claims that her involvement led to the cancellation of the couple's wedding plans. The speculation escalated when screenshots of flirty conversations between Palash Muchhal and Mary D'Costa surfaced online. These images, which were allegedly shared by D'Costa on Reddit, quickly spread across various social media platforms. In response to these circulating rumours, D'Costa took to Instagram to set the record straight. D'Costa clarified that false assumptions were being made, which she wanted to correct. "First, the exchange of chats happened between April 29th and May 30th 2025, so the contact lasted for only one month. “I want to clarify, I am not the choreographer, and I am not the person he cheated with,” her post read. Fresh off making history as the first-ever Punjabi artist to headline Rolling Loud, Karan Aujla, one of the world’s most-streamed Punjabi music artists and a defining voice of modern Punjabi pop culture, has officially announced the India leg of his monumental P-POP CULTURE World Tour set to be hosted next year by leading live event company Team Innovation. Spanning major cities across India, the tour will cover Bengaluru, Indore, Pune, Mumbai, alongside New Delhi and Chandigarh, where the king of good times will deliver his debut stadium performances. The announcement follows the record-breaking success of his It Was All A Dream India Tour held in 2024, which captivated more than 2,00,000 fans across seven cities and ten shows, earning acclaim for its electrifying stature and unprecedented star-studded guest appearances. Now, poised to create a whirlwind in the live music landscape once again, the hitmaker returns to his home turf with his most ambitious and culturally significant tour to date—one that promises to set new records in scale and artistry. Before kicking off the India leg of the world tour, the hitmaker will mark a major milestone in his career with his first-ever headlining performance in Abu Dhabi on 29th November 2025 at Etihad Park, Yas Island. Expected to draw an audience of more than 30,000 fans, the one-night-only event will serve as the official launch of the P-POP CULTURE World Tour. Aujla will travel across the United States, Europe, Asia, Canada and the United Kingdom, besides a multi-city run in India in support of the very same tour. The Indian edition will cover six major cities between February and March 2026, with additional shows and locations anticipated in a second phase. Projected to attract more than 400,000 fans, the tour is on track to become the largest Punjabi pop tour ever held in India. Exclusively presented and promoted by Team Innovation, the force behind Aujla’s 2024 sold-out India tour and his UAE debut. Meticulously designed to deliver a fully immersive live experience, the tour will merge cutting-edge visual technology, genre-defining production, and rich cultural storytelling. Fans can anticipate a dynamic setlist featuring chart-topping tracks from Aujla’s critically acclaimed 11-track album P-POP CULTURE, including ‘P Pop Culture’, ‘I Really Do...’, ‘MF Gabhru!’, ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘For A Reason’ alongside his iconic hits as ‘Admiring You’, ‘Winning Speech’, ‘Tauba Tauba’, ‘Wavy’ and ‘Softly’. He will be joined on stage by longtime collaborator and Toronto-based producer Ikky, along with a series of high-octane celebrity cameos in every city—a signature element of his live shows. Karan Aujla states, “India has some of the most powerful and passionate fans in the world, and they remind me of that every single time I step on stage. No matter where I perform globally, the energy and love I receive in India is unmatched and the fans never disappoint. Every milestone, every achievement feels bigger when I get to bring it home and celebrate it with my people. Returning to India with the P-POP CULTURE World Tour is a moment I’ve been looking forward to for a very long time. This album represents who I am today- my growth, my culture and my vision for Punjabi music on the world stage. India has always given me unconditional love, and this tour is my way of giving that love back with the biggest live experience I’ve ever created.''

However, this happens while he is trying to marry the girl who is the love of his life. But as a twist, or mistakenly, he ends up tying the knot with different girls. Much like the first part, he is again stuck in three marriages, with all the wives living in the same building. But as he struggles to manage things, a twist occurs, and trouble deepens when a police officer enters the scene, searching for the man who has married thrice. Sharing the trailer, Kapil wrote, “4 wives…. !! Don’t try this at home, this stunt is performed by our expert..🤪 #KisKiskoPyaarKaroon2 In Cinemas on 12th December 2025."
