Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie to work on two 'Mission Impossible' films back-to-back

Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise join hands for two back-to-back films for their famous franchise together -- 'Mission Impossible'. After delivering a massively successful film recently, Christopher has been roped in to write and direct the next two 'Mission Impossiblefilms, which will be shot one after another.
The same was confirmed by the superstar on Twitter. Tom posted an animated logo of the series’ popular lit fuse logo and captioned it: “Summer 2021 and Summer 2022”.
In response to this tweet, Christopher wrote: “Mission accepted” with the hashtag of the franchise’s name.
The first upcoming film was to happen much before but it has been delayed as Tom is busy with another big franchise film, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ that is currently in production under the direction of Joseph Kosinski.
