Sinners trailer: Michael B. Jordan’s vampire film has a lot of potential

Expect the unexpected as Warner Bros. brings together Black Panther actor Michael B Jordan with writer/director Ryan Coogler for Sinners. The trailer for Sinners dropped today.

Sinners is a highly anticipated vampire movie from the MCU duo. The makers are finally making headway with the film which is a non-MCU-sanctioned take on the Blade comics. The film is taking shape even before the Blade remake.

Sinners is entirely separate from the franchise.

What to expect from Michael B Jordan's Sinners

Marvel’s Blade starring Mahershala Ali was first announced in 2019. Since then, they have not been able to zero down on actors and helmer for the project.

Meanwhile, Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan first worked together in Fruitvale Station. They then worked together on Creed. Jordan later made his directorial debut with Creed III.

Sinners is written and directed by Ryan Coogler and it centers on twin brothers — both played by Jordan — who return to their New Orleans hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

The trailer for Sinners teases a tagline,“You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”

The film will also star Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, and Jack O’Connell.

The film is produced by Coogler and frequent collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. The executive producers are Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho.

Sinners will premiere on March 7, 2025 in theaters.
