The latest film to get attacked by piracy websites is Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty’s recently released film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’.

The film released on November 15, that is, last Friday along with ‘Marjaavaan’ but before it could attract audiences to the theatres, it was leaked online by Tamilrockers, the notorious hacker group that has been associated with the most number of movie and series leaks online. Before its release, the film also got into some legal trouble.

The film was leaked online within a few hours of its theatrical release.

‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ has so far received a mixed response from the audiences and film critics. While both actors are being appreciated for their acting portions, many find the plot problematic.

The film was produced under the banner of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and has been directed by Debamitra Biswal. It also features Vibha Chibber, Navni Parihar, Vivek Mishra, Karuna Pandey, Sapna Sand and others in supporting roles.

Sadly, ‘Marjaavaan’ also took a hit on the same day as Tamilrockers also leaked the film online on the same day of its theatrical release. This year, a number of movies became the target of these leaks including ‘Housefull 4’, ‘Saaho’, ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ and many others.
