Mahira Khan's wedding photos and videos created a social media frenzy recently. The actress, best known for the TV show Humsafar and her Bollywood debut in Raees, married long-time beau Salim Karim at an intimate ceremony in Pakistan in the presence of close friends and family. This is Mahira's second marriage. The actress has shared some more dreamy photos of her wedding which show her son Azlaan walking her down the aisle.
Azlaan is Mahira and ex-husband Ali Askari's son. In the wedding photos, the young boy looked dapper in a light-coloured suit as he held his mother's hand and led her down the aisle. Mahira shared the beautiful photos with a blue heart emoji.
Mahira’s wedding make-up artist also shared a new photo, and wrote, “The prettiest bride I have ever seen my gangu.”
Many fans have been sharing their views on Mahira’s look as a bride. One fan called her “A real life fairytale princess,” while another wrote, “Heavenly beautiful.” Indian actress Mouni Roy too reacted to Mahira’s photos and wrote, “Who looks thisssss beautiful!!!!!!???? DIVINE.”
Mahira and Salim’s wedding reportedly took place in Pakistan’s Bhurban over the weekend.
The wedding video showed Salim tearing up as his bride walked towards him dressed in an ivory ensemble with a trailing veil and matching diamond jewellery. The clip that Mahira shared showed her son Azlaan and other family members getting emotional as Mahira and Salim met halfway on the aisle and beamed at each other before sharing a warm hug.
