Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig is the Miss Universe 2024, and has scriptedhistory. Theilvig won the prestigious crown in the glitzy ceremony of the 73rd Miss Universe that was organised at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Nov. 17.
The 21-year-old won the trophy after a tough competition and defeating 124beauties from around the worldwho competed to wear that shining prestigious crown. Among all,the lucky one who outshinedall wasa young and bright lady from Denmark: Victoria Kjaer Theilvig.
Theilvig's win is extra special as it's the first time ever that a woman from Denmark has won the trophy in the beauty pageant's history.
For the final round of the pageant, Theilvig stole all the eyes with her shimmery look that perfectly matched the vibe of the glitzy event. She dazzled in the pink body-hugging gown that was adorned with crystals and stones. She was crowned by Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.

Who isVictoria Kjaer Theilvig?
Born in 2004, she hails from Søborg, a suburb in Denmark’s capital region, and has also lived in Copenhagen and nearby areas for her studies and career.
Theilvig, 21, is a dancer, entrepreneur and animal rights advocate. With a dream of becoming a lawyer, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing.

Journey to beauty pageants
Victoria's journey of beauty pageants started in 2021 when she was 2nd runner-up at Miss Denmark. Later, she became Miss Grand Denmark in 2022. As per The Latin, she also represented her country in Miss Grand International, where she was placed in the top 20.
Earlier this year, Victoria was crowned Miss Denmark in September.
Inspiring other women to enter business with her journey that reflects perseverance and compassion, she stated, as per Latin Times, "I believe in empowering women to break barriers and redefine what it means to succeed. We are capable of achieving greatness in any field we choose."
