Has Friends actor Matt LeBlanc quit acting? The actor has not been seen in any project lately and is said to have been avoiding mediasince his Friends co-actor and close friend Matthew Perry died of a drug overdose.
Matt LeBlanc who played the iconic role of Joey in the American sitcom is seen putting his energies somewhere else – a luxury car dealers shop. In a report by Daily Mail, on November 4, Matt was spotted very busy at a high-end used car dealership business in Los Angeles. The report suggests that Matt has been involved with the business for a while now.
The Friends actor has always been vocal about his love of cars and has even hosted a reality TV show Top Gear because of his enthusiasm for motors.
The report claims that Matt LeBlanc has invested his money in RPM Motorcars, a shop in the neighbourhood of Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. He visits the place often. Matt reportedly invested in the luxury resale dealership in October 2020.
Matt LeBlanc was in fact seen twice with his daughter Marina this week. He shares Marine with his ex-wife Melissa McKnight. Matt and Melissa were married from 2003 to 2006.
Meanwhile, Matt’s publicist denied that the actor has left acting and made a career switch. Speaking to The Mirror, Matt’s publicist said, “rubbish” and that he’s very much still acting.
Matt last starred as Adam Burns on the CBS series Man with a Plan, which ran from 2016 until 2020.
Matt has always been guarded about his personal life. He stays away from interviews and is often not spotted in public. After his friend Matthew died of a drug overdose, Matt paid tribute to his former co-star in an emotional Instagram post.
Sharing a series of pictures of his, Matt wrote, “Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye.”
