Olivia Munn and John Mulaney welcome second child

John Mulaney and Olivia Munn have become parents for the second time. The duo welcomed the arrival of their second child. They welcomed the little girl via a gestational surrogate.

John announced his baby girl’s arrival with a sweet social media post and wrote, “I love my little girl so much. We stole so much stuff from the hospital.” Their girl was born on September 14, 2024. They have named her Méi June Mulaney. She is born in the year of the dragon. Méi is Chinese for “plum.”

Olivia wrote, “I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded.”

Olivia welcomed baby via surrogacy

Olivia Munn welcomed her second baby via surrogacy after she was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. In March, Olivia revealed, “I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter.” She added, “When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true.”

As for cancer, Olivia underwent a hysterectomy as a part of her treatment.

Olivia and John previously became parents to a baby boy Malcolm in 2021. He is now 3. Munn was diagnosed with cancer around two years later in 2023, and underwent chemotherapy treatment along with multiple surgeries.
