
The water levels may have receded in Kerala but the rehabilitation of lakhs will take time. Help and donations have been pouring in for the state from all across the word and music maestro AR Rahman decided to give assurance to the state in his own unique musical style.
Rahman was performing in California recently. In the middle of singing 'Mustafa Mustafa', Rahman changed the lyrics and instead sung 'Don't worry Kerala' as the crowd cheered on.
After asking Kerala 'not to worry', Rahman expressed his support for the state.
Needless to say, his gesture was lauded by people on the Internet.
As many as 373 people have lost their lives in the destructive deluge that affected the entire state this monsoon season.
Nearly 10 lakh people are estimated to have been displaced, taking shelter in over 5,000 relief camps across Kerala.
