Confirmed! Rami Malek joins the cast of James Bond's 25th film, likely to play the villain

The cast of the new James Bond movie was announced in a live event on Thursday.
It's now confirmed. Fresh from the success of his film 'Bohemian Rhapsody',Academy award winning actor Rami Malek has now joined the cast of the new James Bond film which begins production from Thursday.
In an elaborate live event that had Bond fans joining in from the across the world, the cast of the new Bond film was revealed by the film's director Cary Joji Fukunaga in the presence of producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
Since it is the 25th film of the popular franchise, the announcement was made from writer Ian Fleming's Jamaican home Goldeneye villa- where the author had penned some of the James Bond novels on which the films are based.
Daniel Craig will star for the fifth time as James Bond in the 25th movie of the spy thriller franchise set for release next year, the producers said on Thursday.
Some of the cast members joined the live broadcast including Craig himself to answer questions of fans. Malek who was stuck in New York for work sent a video message expressing his joy to be a part of the team and slyly hinted about how he was looking forward to giving Mr Bond a 'difficult ride' on his 25th outing. That's a big hint about his character, right?

Joining Craig and Malek in the film, are actors Lea Seydoux, reprising her role as Dr. Madelaine Swann from the previous Bond outing 'Spectre', Ben Whishaw who returns as Q and Ralph Fiennes as M. Naomie Harris returns as well. Also returning are Jeffrey Wright and Rory Kinnear.
The film will be shot in Jamaica, Norway and Spain revealed the makers. While the title of the film is yet to be announced, the film is scheduled to release on 25th April 2020.
