
American singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood is all set to receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame.
With this, the country singer will be the 2,646th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame reportedly, according to a US-based fashion magazine.
Carrie gained fame after she won the famed ‘American Idol’ in the year 2005. She has never looked back post that and has won several awards in her 13-year-long music career. She has seven Grammys, six CMAs, 14 ACMs, and 12 American Music Awards to her credit.
In addition to other guest speakers at the ceremony, television producer Simon Cowell, who was a judge in the 2005 singing show will be present. Also, Brad Paisley, who has been co-hosting the CMA Awards telecast with Carrie for the last 11 years will be there.
Carrie will be given the star at a ceremony held at 1750 North Vine Street in front of Capitol Records.
Meanwhile, she is working to release her latest album 'Cry Pretty' this week. She also announced that she would be embarking on the 'Cry Pretty Tour 360'in May 2019.
