Stree 2 teaser: Tamannaah Bhatia joins Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor horror comedy

Promising more thrills, the makers are back with Stree 2, the sequel to the hit horror comedy that captured everyone’s attention when it released. Stree is part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
Joining the original cast, Tamannaah Bhatia will add more spunk to the film and maybe horror. The teaser showsShraddha Kapoor back in the same town even after the townspeople have accepted their mistakes and honour Stree in the form of a big statue which they garland every day. However, seems like that’s not enough.
In Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will reprise their roles. Others who will join in the fun from the first film are Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee.
Sharing the much-awaited teaser of Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank! The legend returns this INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August! #Stree2 #SheIsBack #Stree2Teaser.”

The video shows Flora Saini’s vengeful spirit on the hunt for men again in Chanderi. It also introduces Tamannaah Bhatia as a dancer in the film. The subsequent scenes show the village men hunting down Stree.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree released in 2018. The new film is directed by Amar Kaushik. It is slated to release on August 15, 2024.
