Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill starred as India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the fourth T20I to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series on Saturday (Jul 12). Chasing a modest 153, the duo added 156 runs for the opening wicket - the fifth highest opening partnership for India in T20Is.
Jaiswal hit 93 not out in 53 balls with the help of 13 fours and two sixes while skipper Gill remained unbeaten on 58 off 39, hitting six fours and two sixes.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to field first in Harare. Zimbabwe had a good start though, scoring 44 runs in the powerplay without losing a wicket.

Abhishek Sharma eventually broke the partnership in the ninth over with the wicket of Tadiwanashe Marumani. The hosts lost three more wickets in the next six overs and came down to 96/4 from 63/0.
Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza then played a sublime innings of 46 off 28 balls and the team scored 45 runs in the next 3.5 overs. India, however, pulled things back in the last nine balls and restricted Zimbabwe to 152/7 in 20 overs.

For the T20 World Champions, Khaleel Ahmed took 2/32 while Washington Sundar, Abhishek and Shivam Dube took one each. Debutant pacer Tushar Deshpande also took a wicket for 30 runs in his three overs.
Speaking after the match, host skipper Raza lauded his young team and said: "Today is the day you hold your heads high and say they batted better. I am very sure we will be a very competitive side in a short time. Even though the last five overs went for 54-55 we could have got more runs.
India skipper Gill is also looking forward to the last match of the series and said: "The job is not done though. This is a great team, great bunch of players. Hopefully, we will be able to take the team forward."
