The IPL 2025 retention deadline has been set for 31October 2024 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The IPL 2025 retention window will close at 5:00 PM IST on October 31.
A franchise can retain up to five capped and one uncapped player on retention values set by the BCCI.
A team can retain five capped players while a team unable to retain the rest will be eligible for RTM for the remaining slots.
The dates for IPL 2025 are yet to be fixed with probable dates set for November last week or December first week.
A team can retain one uncapped player on the base price set by the BCCI.
