The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are currently investigating the possibility of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar being killed in a recent Gaza skirmish. As many as three Hamas militants were gunned down by the IDF troops during the operation on Wednesday (Oct 16). In other news, amid the ongoing India-Canada row, India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday (Oct 17) reiterated that after putting "serious allegations" on India for its role in the death of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Ottawa has not given any evidence so far to prove it.
