The United States President Joe Biden was seen hugging his son Hunter on Tuesday afternoon at an airport. This happened hours after a jury found Hunter Biden guilty on federal gun charges.
Biden travelled to Wilmington, Delaware, and was greeted on the tarmac by Hunter Biden, his wife Melissa Cohen, and their four-year-old son Beau at the Delaware Air National Guard airfield.
Details of the meeting was caught by the traveling press pool, including photographers, videographers and reporters. The footage showed the president hugging and speaking to Hunter for several minutes.

The interaction, which grabbed headlined of top news channels in no time, was followed by a motorcade to the president's nearby home in Wilmington.
Meanwhile, Republicans such as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) urged prosecutors to focus on the president's role in his son and first brother James Biden's international dealings.
In a historic criminal prosecution of a child of a sitting US president, a jury found Hunter Biden guilty of federal gun charges.

Political experts believe that the conviction might impact his father's re-run for presidential election, but the president expressed his "love and support" for his son.
In a statement released immediately after the conviction, he said, "I am the President, but I am also a Dad."
"So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery.
"I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal," he added.

Hunter Biden's conviction
The 54-year-old was convicted on all three of the felony counts stemming from his 2018 purchase of a handgun while addicted to crack cocaine.
The 12-member jury deliberated for about three hours over two days before reaching a verdict. Hunter Biden did not take the stand during the one-week trial, which First Lady Jill Biden attended for several days.
He could face up to 25 years in prison, although as a first-time offender jail time is unlikely. A date was not set for sentencing but it is expected to take place in the next few months.
