NATO prompted Turkey to act after May 30 violence, Turkey sends troops to Kosovo after unrest
Following the unrest in the northern part of Kosovo NATO member Turkiye has planned to send Commandos to the country for peacekeeping. This is in response to a NATO request to join the alliance KFOR Peacekeeping Force. Turkiye's Defense Ministry on Saturday called for restraint followed by constructive dialogue in order to come to a resolution to the crisis.
