Karnataka: Vet Killed by Pregnant Hippo in South India
A tragic incident has been reported from Karnataka’s Shivamogga district, where a 27-year-old veterinarian died after being attacked by a pregnant hippopotamus during a late-night health check at the Tyavarekoppa Lion and Tiger Safari Zoo. The doctor was conducting a routine thermal scan inside the enclosure when the animal suddenly turned aggressive.
