Global warming crosses 1.5°c limit for the last 12 months
For the first time on record, the earth has endured 12 months of temperatures that have breached the limit set by the Paris agreement. Europe's climate monitor C3S has confirmed that from February 2023 to January 2024, the world crossed the threshold of keeping global warming to under 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
