China prohibits use of Intel, AMD chips in government systems & servers

China has implemented new government procurement guidelines. These guidelines prioritise domestic technology, phasing out U.S. Microprocessors like those from Intel and AMD, as well as Microsoft's windows operating system, from government computers and servers. This shift aims to promote domestic alternatives and potentially reduce reliance on foreign technology.
