Mexico prepared on Thursday for more low key annual Day of the Dead celebrations. Markets at this time of the year would normally be crowded with people looking for sugar skulls, candy and paper decorations to decorate the burial places of their deceased loved ones, but most are virtually empty, with few people venturing out because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
