<p>The noble Lipizzans, also known as Lipizzaners, are descendants of long stallion lines crossing Spanish, Arabic and Berber horses and were first bred by the Habsburg court in the 16th century.</p>

<p>They are famous for their "airs above the ground" classical dressage jumps - a series of difficult movements requiring strength and precision, in which the horse's feet leave the ground.</p>

<p>This rare breed, featuring white hair but grey skin - is also famed as a carriage horse. The name derives from tiny Lipica, nestled among Slovenia's verdant hills and lush forests.</p>

<p>The picturesque village is home to one of the world's oldest stud farms, which dates back to 1580 and currently stables more than 400 blue-blooded horses.</p>

<p>"This is the Lipizzan's home," said Slovenian culture minister Asta Vrecko, ahead of the UNESCO ceremony last weekend.</p>

<p>The event was attended by the eight countries that jointly applied for recognition of their shared breeding heritage -- Austria, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.</p>

<p>For a moment, time stood still as horses and riders from the eight nations performed their dressage and driving exhibition.</p>

<p>"They are phenomenal animals. The way that they've been trained and the level of skill of the riders is incredible," said 42-year-old horse farm owner Laura Highlander, who travelled all the way from the United States to see the horses.</p>

<p>"I was super excited to be able to come... and see them in their training," she added after visiting the Lipica stud farm.</p>

<p>"Lipizzans can have a strong temperament. They are usually serene, sometimes shy. They are kind and it is up to us to recognise the quality of each horse," Miro Dragic, head of the Lipica stud farm riders' team, told AFP.</p>

<p>If health permits, these athletic equine stars can be worth up to several hundred thousand euros (dollars) each and can remain active well into their mid-20s</p>

<p>Only the best stallions will be trained in the elitist "haute ecole" of classical dressage to eventually master an equine ballet of cantering, caprioles and pirouettes.</p>

<p>The riders, who sport tailcoats and Napoleonic bicorne hats, must also be at the top of their game to get the best from their sensitive partners.</p>

<p>“Much of Hitler’s personal appeal during his dictatorship derived from his carefully constructed identity as the father of the German nation, who rejected personal connection in favour of loyalty to his country," Bennett said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“This love token of a personalised pencil from Eva on his birthday helps reveal the deception behind Hitler’s public facade,” he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bennett also said that careful research and discussion with the item vendor about where the item (the pencil) was obtained gave him confidence that what he was telling people he was selling was the actual item.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The managing director of the auction highlighted that people might have reservations about selling and collecting items belonging to Hitler.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“But for me, as a high-end collector of militaria items, they preserve a piece of our past and should be treated as historical objects, no matter if the history they refer to was one of the darkest and most controversial in recorded history,” Bennett added.&nbsp;</p>

'#DeSaster': Internet trolls DeSantis after glitchy campaign launch on Twitter Spaces

<p>A video of a massive scuffle between passengers at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago went viral after it was shared on the social media platform.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around a dozen people were seen involved in the fight which started after a "verbal dispute while deplaning" on Monday, stated the police, according to Fox32.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The fight started between flight passengers in the airport's baggage claim area during which a 24-year-old woman was punched by two others.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"A verbal tiff that started in-flight really took off upon landing, with a 24-year-old woman finding herself on the receiving end of a two-pronged attack," stated Chicago Police Department as per the Fox News Digital.</p>

<p>The police stated that the men have been arrested.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The men were identified by the authorities as 20-year-old Tembra Hicks and 18-year-old Christopher Hampton. The police charged the men arrested with one misdemeanour count of battery.</p>

<p>Kathleen Esfahany, the study's lead author and an MIT senior said when an individual is promoted to dream about a particular topic during sleep, he/she&nbsp;can have dream experiences that&nbsp;can be used later&nbsp;in creative tasks.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The study revealed that people who recieved the prompts or "targeted dream incubation," were able to create more creative stories than people who napped without a specific prompt or those who didn't sleep at all.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the findings, this dream stage enables the brain to make connections between disparate concepts which boosts creativity.</p>

<p>Adam Haar Horowitz, another leader of the study said that the connection between sleep and creativity also called N1 or hypnagogia has been known for a while, however, the new study wanted to explore whether it was possible to guide the content of people's dreams and how it would affect their creative process.</p>

<p><strong>The testing process:</strong></p>

<p>For this, the researchers developed a device called Dormio to target dream incubation. This includes a glove that measures three physiological markers of sleep- changes in muscle tone, heart rate and skin conductance by&nbsp;communicating these responses to smartphones or computers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A total of 49 participants were tested for the experiment. Individuals were asked to wear the glove and then take a nap. As soon as they would enter the N1 sleep rate, the app prompts them to dream about something specific. Right before they would jump into the next stage of sleep, the app wakes&nbsp;them up, asking them about the dream and recording their response.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The results revealed that individuals who napped for 45 minutes had the best performance in terms of creativity.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The study also discovered that during sleep onset, the brain was able to bring together concepts that won't happen during waking hours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The researchers further clarified that the Dormio device isn't particularly necessary for targeting dream incubation. They revealed that a device that can track sleep, play and record sound is suitable for this kind of enquiry.&nbsp;</p>

What is G7? Why is it different this year?

<p>&nbsp;A 101-year-old WWII vet finally walked on&nbsp;the stage of his graduation ceremony after eighty years and officially received his diploma in Mount Vernon, Iowa.</p>

<p>Fred Taylor had missed his graduation ceremony which was held in 1943 since he was deployed to serve with the Army Air Corps Reserve during World War II.</p>

<p>"Every able-bodied man and lots of women were involved in World War II," said Fred Taylor of La Mesa, California, while speaking to Fox News Digital.</p>

<p>"I think 16 million altogether," added Taylor.&nbsp;"I have no regrets about going into the service. I really enjoyed flying. My only regret is missing my graduation ceremony, as you normally would end your senior year," he said. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Taylor participated in the graduation ceremony along with 200 graduates of the Cornell College Class of 2023 and all the students embraced him as one of their own.</p>

<p>"Every time I mentioned his name — standing ovation," stated Cornell College's president Jonathan Brand.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It was heartwarming. It was emotional. It brought full circle his own connection with Cornell. He's gracious, humble, articulate, warm, and loving. He is everything that one could ever hope a Cornellian would be," &nbsp;Brand added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking about the special graduation ceremony, Brand further said, "I think there was love for him because of his connection to Cornell, because of his military service, because of his endurance."&nbsp;</p>

<p>All the requirements for receiving a music degree from Cornell College were fulfilled by Taylor.&nbsp;However, the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941 led the United States into World War II and changed the fate of many young men of his generation, including him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Some friends and I joined the Army Air Corp Reserve because we wanted to fly rather than be foot soldiers. On February&nbsp;19, 1943, of my senior year, the Air Corp Reserves were activated and we had to leave the college for basic training in Jefferson Barracks in Missouri. So, of course, we missed our graduation ceremony and that was a very incomplete feeling," Taylor stated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Interestingly, a few months back, Taylor’s daughter Linda Taylor, who works as a professor emeritus at the University of Miami, reached out to Cornell College to discuss the possibility of her father walking on the stage in the graduation ceremony and finishing what he had once started.</p>

<p>"To find out that we [had] a student who, 80 years ago, missed that culminating moment in his life to actually celebrate the completion of his study — there’s sort of this feeling that something wasn't finished. Here's somebody who served our country during World World War II, somebody who left college so that he could help literally save the world from the greatest threat. What a wonderful way to honour him in front of our students," Brand stated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I was thinking … finally. It was exhilarating and sparked a lot of memories. I was also thinking of my 75-and-a-half-year marriage," stated Taylor laughingly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Over the years, law enforcement agencies investigated over 100 suspects but no arrests were made.&nbsp;Prior's mother&nbsp;Yvonne, who is now in her 80s, has spent her life looking for her daughter's killer.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Franklin Maywood Romine's criminal past</strong></h2>

<p>Franklin Maywood Romine ran into&nbsp;trouble with the law many times. When the Longueuil police started looking through criminal records, they found an extensive history of violence and attempts by Romine to evade law enforcement by moving between West Virginia and Canada.</p>

<p>As per records obtained by&nbsp;WCHS-TV, Romine first attempted to escape&nbsp;from the West Virginia Penitentiary in 1964 and later escaped in 1967. Two years later, he already had a Canadian rap sheet.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In 1974,&nbsp;Romine was arrested for breaking into a house and raping a woman in West Virginia's Parkersburg. But he was&nbsp;released on a $2,500 bond two months later and fled to Canada.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Months before&nbsp;Sharron Prior was raped and murdered in 1975,&nbsp;Romine was captured by Canadian border officials and extradited to West Virginia, where he was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for sexual assault in the Parkersburg case.</p>

<p>Romine died in 1982 at the age of 36, shortly after he was released. However, officials said that they were not able to find a death certificate detailing the circumstances which caused his death. <p>However, after the controversy snowballed, a party spokesperson confirmed that AI was indeed used to create nurses, crime victims and robbers.</p>

<p>Along with this, the airline also announced a tenure-linked monthly loyalty reward for captains of up to Rs 1 lakh ($1,209) per month which would be over or above their monthly remuneration.</p>

<p>Back in November, the salaries of captains were Rs 7 lakhs or $8,463 for 80 hours of flying.</p>

<p>Similarly, a hike in salaries of trainers (DE, TRI) and first officers was also announced.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier Ajay Singh, the chairman told employees that the airline planned of initiating a process of reviving its grounded planes with $50 million in funds received from the ECGLS scheme and from its internal accruals.&nbsp;</p>

Leading UK-based international conglomerate SRAM and MRAM Group have already committed a $100 million investment in SpiceXpress.
