A social media influencer has been warning people to stay away from a popular butt filler which has left her infertile and in immense pain.
Jennifer Pamplona, who is a self-proclaimed “surgery addict”, spent a whopping $1 million to ensure that she looks like celebrity Kim Kardashian, however, her plans went down the drain after the popular butt filler went wrong.
The influencer has now warned people to treat the commonly used cosmetic material polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as if it were a plague.

“I always dreamed of being a mother,” said the Brazilian influencer, while speaking to Need To Know.
“Unfortunately, I now find myself unable to fulfill this dream due to the complications caused by PMMA," she added.
Even though the infertility of Pamplona is not directly linked with the use of PMMA, her complications are most likely associated with its adverse reaction or improper application.
How PMMA landed the influencer hanging between life and death
It is said that the substance is able to migrate from the injection site and move to other parts of the body, like the pelvic area, and can affect the reproductive organs' functioning.
Pamplona said that she faced an adverse reaction to the material because it spread from her rear pelvic area and entered her reproductive organs when the doctors carried out a bioplasty on her a decade ago.
The influencer's surgeon, Dr. Carlos Rios, said that the medical mishap turned into a "matter of life or death.”
“The symptoms she exhibited were a direct consequence of this procedure. She was hanging by a thread," he said.
“The suffering is immense, and the pain of not being able to create life is something I never imagined facing,” the influencer said.
But her doctor said that things have been improving “with meditation, proper diet, supplementation and medication.”
“My limitations are severe, and I don’t know what the future holds,” the influencer stated sadly.

Since the age of 17, the influencer has been undergoing plastic surgery and, since then, has gone through 30 procedures on her body and face.
The influencer decided to stop going through such procedures after she was diagnosed with body dysmorphia in 2022.
However, she may need to undergo reconstructive surgery to reverse the negative effects of her previous surgeries.
“I like to say that if everyone paid attention to their emotional health, procedures would be less frequent,” the influencer said.
