Brazilian bronze-medallist gymnast Flavia is on Tinder and fans are excited

Finding celebrities on dating apps is exciting. So when fans found Brazilian Olympic gymnast Flavia Saraiva on Tinder, they were thrilled. She recently won a bronze medal in the team event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This helped her team finish third in the women's artistic team all-around event.
She made headlines for performing with a black eye after getting injured during warm-ups for the final. Flavia fell on the uneven bars and got a cut above her eye and performed with a bandage over her eyebrow.
Her Tinder profile is written in Portuguese and says that she is looking for “nothing serious, but it depends", reported The Sun.
Tinder, like any other dating app, also requires one to describe themselves in the best possible way. So how would a world-class gymnast describe herself that would attract a date? Being an Olympic medallist should ideally be enough.
Flavia's profile reads, "An artistic gymnastics athlete, Olympic and world medalist" while adding, "tanned" and a "good person".
Flavia being on Tinder has created a buzz on social media. Fans are happy and a little curious, while others rued how it is going to get harder for them to attract a date.

People wondered why she was on a dating app, with some saying she was "crazy" to join it. Maybe it is because she is "too busy competing and training to meet anyone", some of them said.
Others said they would upgrade their plans to match with Flavia.
One of the posts read, "What can we say about mere mortals who use more than 3 or 4 dating apps at the same time and still haven't found anyone?"

Paris Olympics brought to the fore several other female athletes who have quite a following on social media. One of them was Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso who was reportedly asked to leave the Games because of her "inappropriate" behaviour and for dressing in skimpy outfits in the village.

Luana was accused of distracting athletes of other nations by socialising with them while dressed in revealing outfits. She also got into trouble for leaving the village for a personal visit to Disneyland. However, she slammed all such reports and said that she was not kicked out of the athletes' village.
Luana took to Instagram and said, "I just wanted to clarify that I was never kicked out or expelled from anywhere, please stop spreading false information. I don't want to make any statement but I'm not going to let lies affect me either."
She announced retirement soon after.
German athlete Alica Schmidt has been dubbed as the world's most beautiful athlete and has over 5.6 million followers on Instagram. Alica is also a successful model and a social media influencer. She was a part of the German athletics team which finished 7th in the women’s 4x400m relay event and failed to qualify for the final.
