Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Rajat Patidar displayed shotmaking of the highest order on Thursday (Apr 25) by smashing&nbsp;SunRisers Hyderabad's (SRH) Mayank Markande for four consecutive sixes during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match. Patidar shrugged off his poor form and enthralled the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium crowd that had considerable RCB support.&nbsp;

Patidar's liftoff came in the 11th over of the innings when Markande came to bowl his third over. Having&nbsp;conceded only 15 runs and picked Will Jacks' wicket, Markande was carted over the long off boundary for an 86m maximum on the second ball of the over. From thereon, it was a procession as Patidar pummeled everything bowled in his arc.&nbsp;

It’s hard enough to get in, especially on a surface like that where the ball was holding enough and spinners were having an impact. Patidar needed to chill out for maybe 4 or 5 balls, get to the next over and then reassess. But you can’t afford to have two in batters get out in the same over."
