<p>Almost three years after sexual misconduct claims curtailed his career and prompted an apology, Opera star Placido Domingo is, once again, facing similar accusations. On Sunday,&nbsp;a fellow Spanish singer opened up about her ordeal in a television programme broadcast and claimed that&nbsp;Domingo allegedly asked to touch her after a rehearsal.</p>

<p>Back in a 2020 investigation, more than three dozen women, including singers, dancers, musicians, voice teachers and backstage staff, claimed that they had witnessed or experienced inappropriate behaviour by the 83-year-old over a period of three decades. Domingo, however,&nbsp;has not admitted to any wrongdoings.</p>

<p>The latest accusation has come from an unidentified singer, who gave an interview to&nbsp;Spain’s La Sexta television channel. Appearing as a dark figure, she claimed that Domingo&nbsp;asked to touch her at a theatre in Spain at the start of the 21st century. On another occasion, he tried to kiss her, she said.</p>

<p>"One of the first things they tell you is don’t go up in the lift alone with Placido Domingo,"&nbsp;the woman told La Sexta television channel. "The first time that I felt unease was when we were rehearsing. He (Placido) told me in front of everyone: ‘Listen, can I put my hand in one of these lovely pockets of yours.’ I was wearing trousers with an embroidered back pocket."</p>

<p>"I had a bad stomach because I thought what can I say to (Domingo) in order to carry on normally? If I tell him no, there will be consequences and if I say yes, I don’t even want to think about it," she added.</p>

<p>The singer said she did not report Domingo to her bosses or the authorities because he has influence over everyone. "He is Domingo. He is untouchable. He should not be but I am in the shadows," she said.</p>

<p>Representatives of Domingo did not immediately respond to a request for comment by Reuters.</p>

<p>Domingo resigned as general director of the Los Angeles Opera, whose own enquiry found 10 allegations about him to be "credible". No criminal case was brought to court over any of the claims.</p>

<p>In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo in January 2022, Domingo denied harassing anyone and said he felt he had been convicted in the court of public opinion because he did not speak out. AGMA’s investigation was partial, he said and contained few concrete facts.</p>

<p>'Toolsidas Junior', the 2022 coming-of-age sports movie written and directed by Mridul Mahendra, will be screened at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival in the Children Focus Section.&nbsp;The film bagged the National Award&nbsp;for Best Feature Film in Hindi in July this year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The movie also won another National Award for Special Mention in Child Actor Category for the leading child actor Varun Buddhadev.</p>

<p>The screening will be hosted by National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) in association with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival. The event is scheduled from January 27 to January 31 in Mumbai.</p>

<p>Talking about the honour, the film’s producer Ashutosh Gowariker shared, “It warms my heart to witness the phenomenal response to our film from not just the audience and critics but also the Government of India to having nominated Toolsidas Junior for the collaborative film festival with Shanghai Cooperation Organization. National award-winning film 'Toolsidas Junior' to be screened at SCO Film Festival

<p>Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan aka King Khan was elated to see his fans in Dubai watch 'Pathaan's trailer at the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, on Saturday. Videos of the star's reaction have taken social media by storm. He grooved to&nbsp;‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ song and also did his iconic signature pose for his fans.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. And, is all set to hit the theatres on January 25.</p>

<p>A beloved Hong Kong radio host dubbed the "world's most durable DJ" by Guinness World Records has died aged 98 after more than seven decades on the air.</p>

<p>Reinaldo Maria Cordeiro, known to fans as "Uncle Ray", was hailed as an industry powerhouse who jump-started the careers of numerous local musicians and introduced pop trends to generations of Hong Kong fans on his long-running radio shows.</p>

<p>He interviewed scores of pop icons over the years including the Beatles, the Bee Gees, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.</p>

<p>Cordeiro died on Friday in Hong Kong surrounded by family and friends, who sang 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as a farewell, a committee organising his funeral said.</p>

<p>The veteran DJ was "a prominent figure in Hong Kong popular culture" who made "considerable contributions to the Hong Kong music scene", the city's culture minister Kevin Yeung said Saturday.</p>

<p>Born in Hong Kong in 1924, Cordeiro was the fifth of six children in a family descended from Portuguese immigrants.</p>

<p>He worked as a prison warden and bank clerk before turning to music, hosting his first show "Progressive Jazz" at Radio Rediffusion in 1949.</p>

<p>Cordeiro became a household name in the 1960s by hosting easy listening shows for Hong Kong's public broadcaster RTHK which became a hit with teenagers.</p>

<p>His signature late-night programme 'All The Way With Ray'&nbsp;launched in 1970 and became the station's longest-running radio show.</p>

<p>He was named the "world's most durable DJ" by Guinness World Records in 2000.<br />
Cordeiro retired in 2021, telling RTHK that "I've had the best in life and I've had everything I wanted to be, everything I wanted to do".</p>

<p>He reportedly had heart troubles over the past decade and was hospitalised last January after suffering a stroke.</p>

<p>He wrote in his autobiography that "by sharing good music with my fans, I am in my element".</p>

<p>Los Angeles prosecutors will retry 'That ’70s Show'&nbsp;actor Danny Masterson on three rape counts after a hopelessly deadlocked jury led to a mistrial in his first trial in November. The LA County District Attorney’s Office declared prosecutors’ plans in court filings and at a Tuesday hearing, where Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo rejected a defence motion to dismiss the charges.</p>

<p>The move comes despite prosecutors failing to get even half of the previous jury to vote to convict on any of the counts against Masterson, who is charged with the rape of three women, including a former girlfriend, at his home between 2001 and 2003.</p>

<p>“We are pleased that Danny Masterson will not be permitted to simply escape criminal accountability,” two of the three women and the husband of one said in a joint statement released through their attorneys. “Despite suffering years of intimidation and harassment, we are completely committed to participating in the next criminal trial.”</p>

<p>The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they have been sexually abused.</p>

<p>The judge tentatively set the retrial to begin in late March.</p>

<p>The 46-year-old Masterson had no comment to reporters outside court after Tuesday’s hearing, and his attorney did not respond to an email requesting comment.</p>

<p>He has pleaded not guilty, and his lawyer has said the acts were all consensual.</p>

The actor expressed his feelings about the film in a recent interview after it landed in&nbsp;the 2023 Oscars contention list along with eight other Indian films. Five out of these nine films are from South Indian film industries, namely 'RRR', 'Kantara', 'Iravin Nizhal' and 'Vikrant Rona' along with Nambi Narayanan's biopic.</p>

<p>Speaking to Times Now, the actor shared that he is thrilled to see several films from India making it to the contention list of Oscars. He said,&nbsp;"I am thrilled to see many films from India have made it to the list. We feel very rewarded. The whole idea was to tell the world the story of Nambi Narayanan," before adding, "I am going to believe that we can win the award."</p>

<p>The actor also stated that it's a "revolutionary time for Indian cinema" as the world is recognising how great Indian showbiz is doing in terms of telling unique stories.</p>

<p>Speaking to the publication, he added, "Not only are we making money when the film releases worldwide but we are also getting recognition and to be part of one of the biggest awards in the world is truly true recognition."</p>

<p>"I think, true talent will shine through India right now. I have complete faith that we will make better films than most films that are being made internationally. We have enough and most stories in our own country that can actually shake the world,"&nbsp;he further added.</p>

<p>Hollywood actor&nbsp;Ben Affleck was recently seen serving customers at a Dunkin'&nbsp;Donuts drive-through in Boston. And, his wife Jennifer Lopez was seen pulling up in a white SUV to order her own takeaway.</p>

<p>The Oscar-winning actor was shooting a commercial for the doughnut joint and his wife JLo was there to support him. It's the first time the two&nbsp;have signed a project together since their 2003 film 'Gigli'.</p>

<p>Dressed in an official Dunkin' Donuts cap and T-shirt, Ben is seen pretending to work at the joint.&nbsp;Jennifer, on the other hand, is seen&nbsp;looking glamorous in a white coat,&nbsp;a matching turtleneck top and sweatpants. She is also seen carrying a light brown purse as she ordered her coffee for the commercial at the joint.</p>

<p>Ben seems to be a huge fan of the brand and has been seen carrying Dunkin` Donuts coffee around for weeks and his go-to order is an iced coffee.</p>

<p>A woman who took a picture of the 'Good Will Hunting' star, Lisa Mackay, told a publication that the movie star was quick-witted and funny when they interacted. Speaking to&nbsp;NBC10 Boston,&nbsp;Mackay said that she signed a form for a short clip of hers to be used in the commercial.</p>

<p>For the unversed, JLo and Affleck&nbsp;first dated in the early 2000s and even got engaged but later parted ways in 2004. After staying apart for almost two decades, the two decided to reconcile and get back into a relationship.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But Feige interrupted and said that&nbsp;he is in conversations&nbsp;with Coogler about a third 'Black Panther'&nbsp;film and they're pitching ideas&nbsp;back and forth.</p>

<p>When asked whether he would ever consider making a sequel&nbsp;without Coogler, Feige said, "I go back to what I said when we decided to make ‘Wakanda Forever’ after losing Chad. This mythology and this ensemble and these characters deserve to continue and will continue after all of us are gone, I hope, and will continue forever in movies the way it has in comics for 50-plus years."</p>

<p>However, Feige stated that working without Coogler "wouldn’t be the preference".</p>

<p>A sentencing hearing for former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein over the rape of a woman in a Beverly Hills hotel room a decade ago was postponed on Monday. The Oscar-winning former producer, 70, is already serving a 23-year sentence for his 2020 conviction in New York for sex crimes.</p>

<p>He faces a possible further 18-year term in California, increasing the likelihood the 'Pulp Fiction' producer will spend the rest of his life in prison, even as he appeals both cases.</p>

<p>In the Los Angeles case, he was convicted on December 19 of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by a foreign object of a woman identified in court as "Jane Doe #1."</p>

<p>The trial heard graphic descriptions of encounters between the once-powerful producer and women who were trying to make their way in the world of movies.</p>

<p>Prosecutors painted a picture of a predatory ogre, who for years used his professional heft to rape and abuse women with impunity.</p>

<p>His victims were left terrorized and afraid for their careers if they spoke out against a man who dominated Tinseltown, prosecutors said.</p>

<p>While he was convicted in the Los Angeles case of assaulting one woman, the jury acquitted him of sexual battery involving a second.</p>

<p>They did not reach a verdict on charges relating to the alleged assaults of two other women, one of whom was identified by her lawyers as Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the now-wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom.</p>

<p>Weinstein is appealing the verdict.</p>

<p>A hearing on a defence motion for a new trial was scheduled for February 23.</p>

<p>Judge Lisa Lench said on Monday that if the motion is denied, sentencing will take place that day.<br />
In New York last June, Weinstein lost his first appeal against his verdict and sentence in the state's intermediate appellate court.</p>

<p>But he has further appealed to the higher New York Court of Appeals. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Rumours of Weinstein's behaviour had circulated in Hollywood for years, but his position at the apex of the industry meant few were prepared to challenge him.</p>

<p>That all changed in 2017 with the publication of bombshell allegations against him, ushering in the #MeToo movement and opening the floodgates for women to speak out against sexual violence in the workplace.<br />

<p>The aid by Meer Foundation aims to help the victim's&nbsp;mother with her health issues and&nbsp;provide adequate relief to her siblings.</p>

<p>On Sunday, B-town couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who last shared screen space in Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Brahmastra', were spotted cheering together for their football team Mumbai City FC at the Indian Super League. In no time, photos and videos of the two went viral on social media and netizens gushed over their adorable bond.</p>

<p>Taking some time off of their parenting duties, the two reached the football stadium to see Mumbai City FC clashing against Kerala Blasters. Several pictures and videos of the couple surfaced on the internet and did rounds.</p>
