<p>A 19-year-old woman was killed and four people got injured, according to Newport Police Department Police Chief Larry Dulaney and Lt. Mark Harmon.</p>

<p>The condition of the four injured individuals is yet to be revealed. One victim was reportedly flown to a hospital for further treatment.</p>

<p>The shooting occurred during&nbsp;Fredo Bang's performance around 2:30 AM.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Two suspects - Richard McGee, 31, and Aaron Warren, 28 - have been arrested so far. However, they&nbsp;were not immediately charged, Lieutenant Mark Harmon told KAIT-TV. More arrests are expected in the coming days.</p>

<p>The investigation is currently underway.</p>

<p>Award-winning novelist Sir Salman Rushdie, who was stabbed last year at an event in New York, is all set to release his new novel 'Victoria City', an epic tale of a 14th-century woman who defies a patriarchal world to rule a city, on Tuesday. In a recent interview, he finally broke his silence and commented on the 'colossal attack', due to which he spent six weeks in hospital and lost vision in one eye.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking to The New Yorker, Sir Salman said he was "lucky" to have survived the attack and that his "main overwhelming feeling is of gratitude".</p>

<p>In the wide-ranging conversation with David Remnick, the novelist further revealed, "I've been better. But, considering what happened, I'm not so bad."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hadi Matar,&nbsp;the man suspected of stabbing Sir Salman, has been charged with attempted murder.</p>

<p>"The big injuries are healed, essentially. I have feeling in my thumb and index finger and in the bottom half of the palm. I'm doing a lot of hand therapy, and I'm told that I'm doing very well," he said before stating that it was difficult for him to type and write due to a lack of sensation in some of his fingertips.</p>

<p>Further, sharing how much he has recovered so far, Sir Salman said, "I'm able to get up and walk around. When I say I'm fine, I mean, there are bits of my body that need constant checkups. It was a colossal attack."</p>

<p>Speaking of the mental scars the knife attack left on him, the novelist shared that&nbsp;he is having to rethink his approach to security, having lived without it for more than two decades.</p>

<p>"There is such a thing as PTSD, you know," Sir Salman said. "I've found it very, very difficult to write. I sit down to write, and nothing happens. I write, but it's a combination of blankness and junk, stuff that I write and that I delete the next day. I'm not out of that forest yet, really."</p>

<p>Sir Salman was forced into hiding for nearly a decade after he published his 1988 novel 'The Satanic Verses'. Many Muslims slammed the writer for his portrayal of the Prophet Muhammad in his book. He faced several death threats and the then-Iranian leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, also issued a fatwa (decree), calling for his assassination and placing a $3m bounty on the author's head.</p>

<p>On Sunday night, Indian music composer and producer Ricky Kej picked up his career's third Grammy Award for 'Divine Tides', which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The album&nbsp;is his collaborative project with rock legend and Police drummer Stewart Copeland.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To express gratitude and mark the special occasion, Ricky posted a picture on Instagram right after his Grammy win and wrote, "Super grateful, my 3rd Grammy Award."&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a statement shared with the media, the music composer said, "It feels absolutely surreal to win the biggest prize in music again for the third time. I am extremely grateful to have had another opportunity to make my country India proud by achieving this on the biggest platform in the world for music."</p>

<p>He further added, "I'd like to thank the Recording Academy for this honour, my collaborators Stewart Copeland, Herbert Waltl, Eric Schilling, and everyone else who made this album possible."</p>

On Sunday night, Indian music composer and producer Ricky Kej picked up his career's third Grammy Award for 'Divine Tides', which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The album is his collaborative project with rock legend and Police drummer Stewart Copeland. To express gratitude and mark the special occasion, Ricky posted a picture on Instagram right after his Grammy win and wrote, "Super grateful, my 3rd Grammy Award." In a statement shared with the media, the music composer said, "It feels absolutely surreal to win the biggest prize in music again for the third time. I am extremely grateful to have had another opportunity to make my country India proud by achieving this on the biggest platform in the world for music." Ricky Kej, Bengaluru-based composer, wins third Grammy Award, dedicates honour to India

<p>Fans were shocked to discover that when several labels didn't financially believe in Cardi B when she was searching for a record deal six years ago, Atlantic Records executives Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman believed in her and gave her the chance she truly deserved.&nbsp;Kallman is the CEO and chairman of Atlantic Records, while Greenwald is the&nbsp;CEO and chairman of Atlantic Music Group, which is a newly formed label that’s home to Atlantic Records and 300 Elektra.</p>

<p>On Saturday night, Cardi B paid homage to Greenwald and Craig Kallman, who were honoured with the 2023 Industry Icons Award at the Clive Davis pre-Grammys gala in Beverly Hills, California.&nbsp;The uber-popular,&nbsp;star-studded event was held a night before the Grammy Awards.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a heartfelt speech, the Grammy winner thanked&nbsp;Greenwald and Kallman for supporting her career aspirations. "Other labels were low-balling me and not giving me what I thought I deserved, but Atlantic was right there respecting me, my vision and my career," the rapper recalled. "Craig and Julie took me under their wing."</p>

<p>Cardi B also revealed that she had fears of choosing between her career or being a mother while recording her debut album 'Invasion of Privacy',&nbsp;which ultimately won her a Grammy in 2019.</p>

<p>"I was very scared, I was pregnant and I was afraid to tell anyone,"&nbsp;Cardi said. "I was afraid to tell anyone. I was afraid of people who wanted me to decide between my family and my career, because I knew that happened to other artists with other labels. But with Craig and Julie, the exact opposite happened. You told me I could do both and I will never ever forget that."</p>

<p>The event included several performances including Maneskin, Lizzo, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Hudson, Frankie Valli, Lauren Daigle, Latto, Lil Baby and Lil Wayne.</p>

<p>Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher opened up about his first meeting with English singer Harry Styles in a recent candid conversation with a magazine.&nbsp;The actor shared a slightly embarrassing anecdote about how he failed to recognise Styles during a karaoke party thrown by his and his wife Mila Kunis' neighbour.</p>

<p>Speaking about Harry Styles, Kutcher told Esquire magazine&nbsp;that he is "an extraordinarily well-known singer, that is maybe the best singer today".</p>

<p>"And then this other kid gets up, and he does this 'Abba' song ... I'm like, Oh my God. It's bananas", he recalled. "So this kid gets off stage, and Mila and I go up to him. And we're like, Man, I got to tell you something, you're a singer. You're like a karaoke ringer. You're really good, like really good."</p>

<p>"He's like, 'Thanks, man. Thank you, I really appreciate that. So we go to our friend and we go, God, that guy was really good, huh? And they're like, It's Harry Styles. And I was like, Who's that? Mila's like, It's the guy from the boy band. He's a professional singer," Kutcher added.</p>

<p>After Bollywood actress and bride-to-be Kiara Advani, her beau Sidharth Malhotra left for Jaisalmer for their destination wedding.&nbsp;Sidharth, who was in New Delhi with his parents for the last few days, will soon land in Jaisalmer.</p>

<p>The 'Student of the Year' actor is reportedly getting married to his longtime girlfriend Kiara at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh hotel. The ceremonies are scheduled for February 5 and 6.</p>

<p>Earlier in the day, Kiara was papped&nbsp;arriving in Jaisalmer with celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra and her family. The actress was beaming with happiness as she greeted the paps.</p>

Pathaan Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan's film raises over Rs 7 billion worldwide

<p>Mexican actor Pablo Lyle,&nbsp;who appeared in the popular&nbsp;Netflix crime series 'Yankee',&nbsp;has been sentenced to five years in prison for involuntary manslaughter for fatally punching a man named&nbsp;Juan Ricardo Hernández during a road rage confrontation in Miami in 2019.</p>

<p>The judge also ordered conflict resolution management,&nbsp;eight years of probation, and 500 hours of community service for the actor.</p>

<p>Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez announced the sentence two months after rejecting the actor’s request for a new trial and upholding the guilty verdict reached by a jury in October.</p>

<p>While handing down her sentence, the judge, however, said that Lyle made a "poor decision" and acted "out of anger".</p>

<p>"The evidence shows that the action of Mr Lyle was an act of violence," Tinkler said. "Mr&nbsp;Lyle has to be held responsible for those actions."</p>

<p>The actor has 30 days to appeal the sentence.</p>

<p>Dressed in a red jail uniform, Lyle expressed repentance during the three-hour-long hearing. He has been in detention since&nbsp;October&nbsp;4.</p>

<p>"I am very sorry,"&nbsp;Lyle said in Spanish, looking at some of the members of the Hernández family who were in the courtroom. "I always pray for him and for you, with all my heart."</p>

<p>After a week-long trial, a six-member jury convicted Lyle of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 63-year-old Juan Ricardo Hernández.</p>

<p>Hernández was unarmed when the incident took place. He&nbsp;suffered a traumatic brain injury and died four days after he was hospitalised.</p>

<p>Lyle’s lawyers claimed&nbsp;that he acted in self-defence and that there were inconsistencies in the evidence during the trial.</p>

<p>Lyle’s brother-in-law was taking the actor, his wife and two children to the airport. Their car passed that of Hernández, who stopped at a red light, got out and approached the driver’s window of Lyle’s vehicle to claim that they had blocked his way.</p>

<p>According to security video footage, Lyle and Hernández got into an argument, and the actor punched Hernández in the face. Lyle claimed he was defending himself. He said that his children were terrified and that he feared Hernández had a weapon.</p>

<p>At the hearing, Lyle’s wife, his brother-in-law and his sister offered testimony before the judge made her decision public.</p>

<p>On Hernández’s side, his son described him as a very happy, attentive person, with good health and principles. Juan Ricardo Hernández Jr. asked the judge to sentence Lyle to a maximum of 15 years.</p>

<p>He said that the day before the altercation, he had been with his father.</p>

<p>"I didn’t want to believe it was him," Hernández’s son said of going to the hospital to see his father after receiving news of the incident.</p>

<p>Ticketmaster, whose sales processes have angered bands and fans for decades, came under fire in November last year when frustrated Taylor Swift fans battled its website, often unsuccessfully, to buy tickets for her first tour in five years.</p>

<p>The company, which is owned by Live Nation (LYV.N), revealed on their website that they are working to verify fans, filter out bots, and temper fans' expectations that they will get tickets for Beyonce's Renaissance tour when sales start next week.</p>

<p>"Demand for this tour is expected to be high. If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist," Ticketmaster said on its website. The access code, the company said, "does not guarantee tickets."</p>

<p>On Thursday, Ticketmaster tweeted that the demand to register for a chance to buy tickets for concerts in the nine cities in Group A, whose registration closed on Friday, exceeded the number of tickets by more than 800%. Second shows were added in seven cities, including Houston, Atlanta and Toronto.</p>

<p>Beyonce last toured in 2016. She&nbsp;released her chart-topping and critically acclaimed album 'Renaissance',&nbsp;her seventh studio album, at the end of July. The album is in the running to be named album of the year at this year's Grammy Awards on Sunday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The North American leg of Beyonce's tour opens in Toronto on July 8 and closes in New Orleans on September 27, according to the Ticketmaster website. The first tickets go on sale on Monday.</p>

<p>After loud complaints from Taylor Swift fans, the company blamed more than 3.5 billion requests from fans, bots and scalpers for its overwhelmed website. Last month, Joe Berchtold, president and chief financial officer of Live Nation, told a US Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that he has apologised to fans.</p>

<p>Acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi has been released on bail after starting a hunger strike to protest against his almost seven-month detention, supporters said on Friday.</p>

<p>The director, a winner at all the big European film festivals, had been arrested months before the current anti-regime protests erupted. But his imprisonment became a symbol of the plight of artists speaking out against the authorities.</p>

<p>Panahi has been released from Tehran's Evin prison "two days after starting his hunger strike for freedom", the US-based Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI) said on Twitter, while Iran's reformist Shargh newspaper published an image of Panahi jubilantly embracing a supporter after being released on bail.</p>

<p>His wife Tahereh Saeedi posted a picture on Instagram of Panahi being driven from prison in a vehicle.</p>

<p>Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux expressed "great relief" at the news of his release.</p>

<p>"We do not forget all those, in Iran and around the world, who are subjected to violence and repression," he told AFP. "The Cannes Film Festival will always remain alongside artists from all over the world in defence of freedom."</p>

<p>- 'Trapped in Iran' -</p>

<p>The prize-winning director was arrested in July and went on a dry hunger strike on Wednesday to protest his continued detention.</p>

<p>"Mr Panahi was temporarily released from Evin prison with the efforts of his family, respected lawyers, and representatives of the cinema," Iran's House of Cinema, which groups together industry professionals, said in a statement.</p>

<p>The announcement that Panahi was going on a dry hunger strike sparked a wave of concern across the world about the director, who has won prizes at all of Europe's top three film festivals.</p>

<p>"Today, like many people trapped in Iran, I have no choice but to protest against this inhumane behaviour with my dearest possession -- my life," Panahi had said in the statement published by his wife.</p>

<p>"I will remain in this state until perhaps my lifeless body is freed from prison," he said.</p>

<p>- 'Relief and joy' -</p>

<p>Panahi, 62, was arrested on July 11 and had been due to serve a six-year sentence handed down in 2010 after his conviction for "propaganda against the system".</p>

<p>On October 15, the Supreme Court quashed the conviction and ordered a retrial, raising hopes among his legal team that he could be released, but he remained in prison.</p>

<p>Panahi won a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2000 for his film 'The Circle'. In 2015, he won the Golden Bear in Berlin for 'Taxi Tehran', and in 2018, he won the best screenplay prize at Cannes for 'Three Faces'.</p>

<p>Panahi's latest film, 'No Bears', which like much of his recent work stars the director himself, was screened at the 2022 Venice Film Festival when the director was already behind bars. It won the Special Jury Prize.</p>

<p>"It is extraordinary, a relief, a total joy. We express our gratitude to all those who mobilised yesterday," his French distributor, producer Michele Halberstadt, told AFP.</p>

<p>"His next fight is to have the cancellation of his sentence officially recognised. He's outside, he's free, and this is already great."</p>

<p>Panahi's July arrest came after he attended a court hearing for fellow film director Mohammad Rasoulof, who had been detained a few days earlier.</p>

<p>Rasoulof was released from prison on January 7 after being granted a two-week furlough for health reasons and is still believed to be outside of jail.</p>

<p>Cinema figures have been among the thousands of people arrested by Iran in its crackdown on the protests sparked by the September 16 death in custody of Mahsa Amini, 22, who had been arrested for allegedly violating its strict dress code for women.</p>

<p>Star actor Taraneh Alidoosti, who had published images of herself without wearing the Islamic headscarf, was among those detained, although she was released in early January after being held for almost three weeks.</p>

On Thursday,&nbsp;Paramount+ announced that 'The Family Stallone' will serve as a window into the lives of&nbsp;the Oscar nominee, wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone and daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.</p>

<p>According to Variety, the eight-part reality series will premiere on the streaming platform around the springtime.</p>

<p>After witnessing&nbsp;Stallone play some of the most legendary characters in cinematic history, fans will get to see him as a dad,&nbsp;which he considers the greatest role of his lifetime.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Stallone's&nbsp;wife Flavin, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, is the co-owner of the wellness brand Serious Skin Care. His daughters Sophia and Sistine Stallone co-host the 'Unwaxed'&nbsp;podcast together.</p>

Stallone's wife Flavin, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, is the co-owner of the wellness brand Serious Skin Care. His daughters Sophia and Sistine Stallone co-host the 'Unwaxed' podcast together. While his eldest daughter is not interested in pursuing a career in acting, both Sistine and Scarlet are hoping to enter showbiz. <p>The notice, which was issued on Saturday, stated that only the actor has control over the commercial utilisation of his name, personality, voice, image, etc.</p>

<p>The notice also stated that several platforms, product manufacturers and&nbsp;mediums&nbsp;were misappropriating his name, image, voice, caricature image, artistic image, and AI-generated images to create confusion among the public and to entice them to buy products or to access a site.</p>

<p>The notice added, "His charisma and nature as an actor and human being has earned him the title of 'Superstar' as he is called by millions and millions of his fans across the world. The sheer proportion of his fan base and his respect across the film industry is unmatched and indisputable. Any damage to his reputation or personal life would entail a great loss to our client."</p>

<p>It is to be noted that Rajinikanth is presently shooting for the big-budget movie&nbsp;'Jailor', in which Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is playing a cameo role.</p>

<p>Hollywood actor Gerard Butler recently revealed on an episode of 'The Drew Barrymore Show' that he "almost killed" Hilary Swank on the&nbsp;set of 'PS I Love You'.</p>

<p>He shared that he still feels guilty over the hilarious yet dangerous incident that resulted in his co-star going to the hospital for quick treatment.</p>

<p>Sharing the incident with Drew Barrymore, the actor referred to the scene where he had to dance wearing nothing but a pair of suspenders and said, "I literally shot that scene for a day and a half and I had to dance like an idiot in the suspenders."</p>

<p>"At one point, the clip, which was a crocodile clip, got stuck in the television as I'm crawling towards her and she's right in front of me and she's laughing hysterically," he added.</p>

<p>The clip was "so dangerous" that the camera crew devised plastic covers as protection.</p>

<p>"I had to ping it, and it would go past my face. And this time I'm crawling towards the bed. It gets stuck," he revealed. "It releases, flies over my head, hits her in the head, slashes her head. I cut her open."</p>

<p>Swank was then rushed to the hospital. "Imagine a studio, and in three seconds, everybody's gone, and I'm just sitting there in my boxer shorts and my boots and a pair of socks and I just started crying," he said.</p>

<p>"'I just scared Hilary Swank!' I almost took her eye out and I just made a fool of myself for two days and this is what I have to show for it. She's off to the hospital," he stated.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'Scrubs' and 'Californication' writer and producer Eric Weinberg has been accused of sexually assaulting 13 women, ranging between the age of 18 to 35, from 1998 to 2017 in a dozen new lawsuits and most of them allege a common pattern.</p>

<p>The 62-year-old is already facing 18 criminal charges involving five other women. Two women had filed lawsuits against Weinberg in November, alleging that he sexually assaulted them on separate occasions in 2019.</p>

<p>According to the complaints, Weinberg would approach women in public places like cafeterias or grocery stores and pose as a photographer. He would invite them to participate in a photo shoot at his home, where he would sexually assault them, according to the lawsuits.</p>

<p>In fear of being killed or seriously injured, the victims did what Weinberg said and also remained quiet until news of his predatory behaviour came out in public.</p>

<p>The lawsuits identify the plaintiffs by pseudonymous initials. One of the complaints covers two accusers, who allege that they went together to Weinberg's house in October 2013 and that he sexually assaulted both of them.</p>

He was charged on October 5 and his bail was increased to $5 million.&nbsp;A judge revoked his bail on October 25, after finding that the allegations suggest that Weinberg "cannot stop and will not stop his sexual assaults on women, and therefore he poses a danger to the safety of women".</p>

<p>At the time, prosecutors revealed that the LAPD had received more than 70 tips about Weinberg, who is currently being held at the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic.</p>

<p>On the professional front, Weinberg worked on 'Scrubs' from 2001 to 2006. He also worked on 'Veronica's Closet', 'Californication' and 'Anger Management'.</p>

<p>The 28-year-old's trousers split in the middle during the concert, which was also attended by Kylie Jenner, Trevor Noah and Ellen DeGeneres. The awkward incident occurred when he was singing his hit song 'Music for a Sushi Restaurant'.</p>

<p>In the now-viral clips, Styles can be seen going down on his knees before making a shocked face to the crowd as he realised his pants had split. He quickly covered the rip with his hands and started walking backwards before&nbsp;apologising to the audience sitting in the front row.</p>

<p>"My trousers ripped. I feel I must apologise to a certain few of you right down in the front there. I mean, this is a family show," the former One Direction member said.</p>
