Visitors to Disney World's Epcot, Florida spotted a glowing orb over the amusement park recently. It was seen by Morgan Huelsman, digital director of The Bobby Bones Show, and her boyfriend. She said on a radio show that they were waiting for the fireworks while sitting on a patio. Suddenly, out of nowhere, something lit up in the sky. It wasn't the fireworks, but something that was glowing one minute and then vanished. They thought it was a drone or a satellite, so they searched for any information about it on the internet. However, there was nothing that could explain the sighting. She even captured a video of the "UFO" and posted it on social media. It shows the bright object hovering over Huelsman's head. The Bobby Bones Show's X account said that "It was never moving." The video quickly went viral, leading to speculation that they had seen a UFO. Huelsman said the object was "definitely a UFO with aliens." UFO over Disney World Florida? Couple says mysterious orb was definitely 'aliens'

Back in 2015, a grave digger in Peru stumbled onto something straight out of science fiction — a stash of strange mummified bodies hidden in a cave. What made them instantly infamous? Each had just three fingers and three toes. Since then, the so-called alien mummies of Nazca have been at the centre of wild debates. Were they extraterrestrials? A lost human species? Or just an elaborate scam cooked up to fool the world? Now, nearly a decade later, the mystery refuses to die. About two dozen of the remains are under serious scientific examination.
Aliens, humans, or something in between?
According to researchers, the mummies still have preserved tissue, muscles, and even organs. One appears to have been pregnant when she died. Podcast host Jesse Michels, who runs American Alchemy, recently visited the site. His verdict: "I found no evidence that they are not from Earth". Instead, he floated a new theory — they could be a long-lost subterranean species. Also read | Alien attack in November? 6 strange objects that appeared overnight on Earth, and scientists still can’t explain them

Stephen Hawking, the renowned physicist known for his contributions to humanity's understanding of black holes, the cosmos, and the nature of the universe, once warned that if aliens make contact with us, they won't be kind and might view Earth as just another planet to plunder. The world-renowned scientist's warning has once again entered the spotlight as intrigue around UFOs and extraterrestrial life continues to escalate. This is amplified by reports of a possible alien warship that may strike around November and as US Vice President JD Vance revealed his "obsession" with the little green men. "I'm obsessed with the whole UFO thing. What’s actually going on? What were those videos all about? What’s actually happening?" He said recently while appearing on the Ruthless podcast. What did Stephen Hawking say about aliens? Is humanity in danger? All you need to know.
Stephen Hawking's alarming warning on aliens and extraterrestrial vehicles
Before his passing in 2018, Hawking was known to persistently caution against intentional efforts to communicate with aliens, especially those potentially far superior to humans. He warned that an intellectually superior species may view our planet as a world ready to plunder instead of approaching us with goodwill. In an ominous warning, he suggested that such contact may even jeopardise humanity's survival. In a 2010 episode of 'Into the Universe', the genius famously said that, "If aliens ever visit us, the outcome might be similar to when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans." Pointing at how historically dominant societies, when they encounter less developed cultures, tend to dominate and disregard suffering that isn't their own, he argued that humans only need to look at themselves "to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn't want to meet". According to Hawking, it would be stupid to presume that a sophisticated civilisation would inherently embrace peace.Stephen Hawking further theorised that a developed alien species that possesses advanced interstellar travel capabilities would probably (like humans are currently doing) have depleted their natural resources. Thus, driving them to travel the cosmos to look for newer, resource-rich worlds. In such a case, Earth could look less like an ally and more like a viable conquest.Notably, Hawking was not alone in warning about how dangerous contact with aliens could be. Carl Sagan, an American astronomer and planetary scientist who dedicated his life to research on his research on the possibility of extraterrestrial life, is also known to have voiced a need for caution. He pointed out that alien psychology could be beyond our predictions.
So, what should humans do?
Staunchly shunning attempts to actively try to communicate with aliens, Stephen Hawking instead proposed passive monitoring was the way to go. However, some scientists argue that humanity has been beaming radio waves and signals into space for over a century. They posit that intelligent alien species may already know we exist, and if Hawking's warning was in fact a premonition, then we may already be doomed.

Before his death, Stephen Hawking consistently warned humanity against contacting aliens. As interest in UFOs and little green men comes to the fore, an ominous warning he made has also resurfaced. What did Stephen Hawking say about aliens? Is humanity in danger? All you need to know.

The interstellar object, or the alien ship, travelling towards the inner solar system, will reach Earth and put its plan into action between November 21 and December 5, 2025. This is what Harvard scientists Avi Loeb, famous for his theories on extra-terrestrial life, has claimed in his latest revelation about the mysterious visitor. This is based on his calculations taking into consideration the speed with which the object is travelling, its current position and the point in space it would be in October. The interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS has intrigued scientists across the world. While almost everyone else thinks it is a comet, Loeb says it is almost impossible that it is a natural object. He strongly believes that it has been made by an advanced alien civilisation and is a threat to our planet, as it could be carrying either a probe or a weapon. Loeb has figured out the time period it can intercept Earth by looking at where the object would be later this year. According to him, 3I/ATLAS will move behind the Sun in October from Earth's perspective. Since we won't be able to see it at this time, he thinks this is when the alien ship will prepare to attack us. He points to its strange retrograde orbit, which is against the flow of the solar system. The orbit of 3I/ATLAS is also closely aligned with inner planets, including Earth. The object is also extremely large, the biggest one ever seen in the solar system. It is estimated to be 20-24km in diameter, which is 200 times larger than Oumuamua, the slender oblique that visited us in 2017. Now, two famed mystics—one long deceased, the other alive and active—are making a chilling new prophecy: alien contact is imminent. The legendary Bulgarian seer Baba Vanga, whose eerie track record continues to stun believers and sceptics alike, is said to have predicted that Earth will make first contact with extraterrestrial life in 2025—and they've even predicted when the little green men will talk to humanity. Curious? Read on to know when aliens would say hi to us.
So, when will aliens contact humans?
As per the predictions by Baba Vanga, alien contact with us would happen during a major global sporting event. A similar prediction has also been made by the so-called Living Nostradamus. And guess what? This year alone, major sporting events like the Women's Euro Final, Women's Rugby World Cup, and several high-profile Formula 1 races are on the calendar. Now the question is: Will one of these be the moment aliens finally reveal themselves? While Vanga died in 1996, her predictions continue to gain traction decades later. However, adding a modern twist to Vanga's vision is Brazilian psychic Athos Salomé, often dubbed the "Living Nostradamus" for his unnervingly accurate insights into global events. As per Mirror, Salomé says that the key to discovering alien life won't be flying saucers, an alien invasion or radio signals—but science itself.According to him, NASA's James Webb Space Telescope—launched in 2021 and capable of peering back to the earliest moments of the universe—could be humanity's gateway to alien contact. Talking to Femail, he said, "Thanks to the James Webb telescope, humanity might finally get the answer to the existence of alien life, while governments like the US may declassify UFO files." Such a disclosure, he argues, could "revolutionise one's view about the universe in which we exist - and about ourselves."

Baba Vanga and Living Nostradamus's chilling 2025 prediction: Aliens to say 'hi' during...

Airport radars are tasked with detecting and tracking aircraft that are flying near an airport. However, a new study has found that they could also be revealing our location to aliens and advanced civilisations. The radars leak electromagnetic energy into space, which can be picked up by living beings as far as 200 light-years away. The study analysed what these signals appear like to extraterrestrials that could be present far away from us. This theory comes with two conditions. First, the alien civilisation should have state-of-the-art radio telescopes like Earth. Second, 200 light-years is how far humans can look to spot aliens with similar technology. The findings were revealed at the Royal Astronomical Society’s National Astronomy Meeting 2025 in Durham.
Airport radars exposing our location to aliens 200 light-years away
The team simulated settings to understand what these radar signals would appear as from nearby stars such as Barnard’s Star and AU Microscopii after leaving Earth and spreading in space. The researchers found that the radio signal sent out by these radars is enough to be picked up by telescopes similar to those we have on Earth. Airport radars generate a combined radio signal of 2×1015 watts, which could be easily detected by telescopes that are the same as the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia. They could be as far as 200 light-years from Earth, and would still be able to pick up these radar signals.
Military radars are stronger
When it comes to military radar systems, the signals being sent out are even more powerful. Military radar systems are more focused and have an accumulated peak emission reaching about 1×1014 watts in a given field-of-view of the observer. The signals emitted by them will be a hundred times stronger from some points in interstellar space. They will also appear to be "clearly artificial" to anyone who has access to powerful radio telescopes. The team concluded that radar signals on any planet could act as a universal sign of intelligent life.
How humans and Earth appear to aliens
The study shows not only how we can learn about other civilisations in the universe, but also what our signals look like in space. Michael Garrett of the University of Manchester, a co-author of the paper, said, "By learning how our signals travel through space, we gain valuable insights into how to protect the radio spectrum for communications and design future radar systems. The methods developed for modelling and detecting these weak signals can also be used in astronomy, planetary defence and even in monitoring the impact of human technology on our space environment.

Earth is unknowingly sending signals into space revealing our location to aliens

People in New York State reported 66 Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) sightings in the first half of 2025. A report by the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) revealed the mysterious objects residents of the state saw flying in the sky. There were glowing orbs, the classic UFO, some silent triangles, disks that zoomed away at fast speeds and shape-shifting lights. The incidents were reported from all kinds of places. People in rural areas also reported seeing UFOs, as did those in New York City and the suburbs. In the same amount of time last year, between January and mid-June, New York reported 65 UFO sightings. The events were scattered across the state and not limited to a particular region. People in New York City also saw secret flying objects that had no explanation. In rural areas also, residents said they saw strange structures in the sky which didn't seem real. Chester, Ridge and Evans Mills were among the smaller areas where flying anomalies were reported. Some of the sightings were supported by photographs and videos. In the report, NUFORC speculated that they could have been drones, aircraft or even the International Space Station. The region is near a military base and such areas have several been associated with UAPs. Besides orbs, people also saw spheres and triangles, all of which were moving in a highly advanced fashion. Because of this, people believe that the sightings could be linked to defence activities. In the past, people have often seen mysterious objects zooming in the sky and moving in a zig-zag manner. The orbs, spheres and triangles made sudden movements, taking sharp right-angle turns and making several other manoeuvres. The witness thought them to be birds at first, but their synchronised movement raises suspicion. The orbs took a sharp turn to the northwest without slowing down. Soon, they became dark, aerodynamic ovals and hard to spot in the evening sky. They then disappeared. In another incident, a passenger flying in from Toronto told NUFORC about a metallic ball flying in the opposite direction, roughly 100 to 200 feet below the aircraft. The person said it was a perfectly round and shiny sphere, and it was shining. The witness is sure that it was neither a balloon nor a stationary object.

A woman in California claims that her doorbell camera caught an "alien" walking through her backyard who exited from a back gate. Jessica Ortiz, from Compton, revealed on Instagram that the strange occurrence happened on June 5. She shared a clip showing the blue "alien" moving slowly. It is short, has an elongated head, a tiny neck and a backbone that protrudes outwards. The neck seemingly appears to be coming out from his chest. It doesn't look like any animal either. Jessica's aunt told her that about 30 minutes before the creature was spotted on camera, she heard banging and scratching noises on her roof. What's even more shocking is that only the door camera captured the "alien" and none of the other motion-activated cameras on the premises caught it.

Alien on Ring door camera?
Sharing the story on the YouTube channel The Hidden Underbelly 2.0., Jessica says it seems like the creature appeared out of nowhere just before it walked past the back door at around 1 am PT. After it leaves, the gate can be heard being slammed shut in the video. Ortiz said in the June 27 interview, that she received an alert from the Ring doorbell app, suggesting movement. She checked it and couldn't believe what she saw. So she asked her son to "double-check" it. He was shocked and said, "Mom it's an alien, call the cops." Ortiz said it was a weird and scary moment and they could not decide whether to call the police. "I was like 'we're going to sound crazy calling the police saying there's an alien in the backyard,'' Ortiz said. The family ended up not calling the police on the alien. The host and Ortiz speculated what it could be. The two wondered whether it could be a child dressed in a costume. However, they couldn't believe that a child would be roaming around alone at 1 am in the night. The unnamed host then said that it fit the description of an alien race UFO researchers refer to as "the Greys". He said that the creature was only three to four feet in height. He pointed out that its head has a "very weird shape". He then cited its colour, saying, it is a "blue-grey creature, of the typical Greys."

Alien on door camera? The Ring doorbell camera in a house in California captured a bizarre creature that looked like an alien. It was short, with a weirdly shaped head and walked bent forward. It happened at 1 in the night, and so Jessica does not think it was a child.

Humpback whales have been trying to communicate with humans for years, but we have never noticed. Smoke-like rings in oceans have often been observed. Till now, scientists thought the whales were creating these rings while looking for food, or as an attempt to attract a mate. However, Researchers from the SETI Institute (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) have discovered that the ocean beasts are blowing these rings to attract humans. The SETI team said they are intentionally trying to communicate with humans, using the rings to say hello. The team thinks they have probably been doing it for years, but all along, we thought it was only linked to their food and love life. But that doesn't seem to be the case. SETI works to look for extraterrestrial intelligence and study the origins of life in the universe. The study has been published in Marine Mammal Science. Researchers at the organisation think that they can use this observation to dig deep into how similar communication might be happening in space by aliens, something we might have missed all this time. Study co-lead author Dr Fred Sharpe from the University of California-Davis said, "They are blowing bubble rings in our direction in an apparent attempt to playfully interact, observe our response, and/or engage in some form of communication." The WhaleSETI team is investigating whether this could be true. If intelligent marine life is using these rings to communicate with humans, it is possible that aliens of a distant world might be doing something similar. The team studied 12 bubble ring episodes from 11 different humpback whales between 2019 and 2023. These instances were reported by experts and common people on social media, interviews, conferences and other places. A total of 39 rings were reported by people on research ships and whale-watching boats. Nine times, the humpback whales blew the bubble rings near boats and swimmers. They continued to chase the boats without any intent to attack them, and in a friendly manner. They splashed their tails and sprayed water out of their blowholes. As they blew the bubble rings, they playfully moved around the people. Scientists think this is a clear sign that the whales are trying to communicate with humans, and saying, “Hey, let’s chat!” the researchers wrote. Using the latest discovery as an example of non-human intelligence, WhaleSETI researchers are looking for ways to locate and translate potential signals found in space. Extraterrestrials might use a similar approach to target satellite receivers on Earth, the authors said.

The mysterious sphere that was recovered in Colombia in March this year has thrown some strange surprises. A team of scientists carried out microscopic scans on the object, also known as the Buga Sphere, and found a maze of fibre-optic wires. They think the presence of these wires means that the sphere can send and receive signals. The UFO was seen zig-zagging over Buga on March 2, in a way that doesn't fit anything seen in a conventional aircraft. Crop circles, a phenomenon linked with aliens, have once again been discovered in a part of the world which has long been associated with extra-terrestrial activities. US President Donald Trump has been intensifying immigration crackdown in the country since the day he returned to Oval Office. His "closest buddy" Elon Musk's DOGE goons are building a "master database" to speed up the identification, detention, and deportation of undocumented migrants, reported CNN.
The project is using sensitive personal data from across federal government departments, including the IRS, Social Security Administration and Health and Human Services—with help from Palantir Technologies.
Notably, Palantir Technologies is a controversial Silicon Valley data analytics firm co-founded by Trump ally Peter Thiel.

According to sources, it is an unprecedented attempt to centralise personal information from multiple agencies into a single source.
Their aim is to generate rapid "targeting lists” for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, sources said.
However, they also warned that it could lead to a civil liberties disaster.
“If they are designing a deportation machine, they will be able to do that,” a former senior IRS employee told CNN.

It also raised concerns amongst Democratic lawmakers and privacy advocates. Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) accused DOGE of “rapidly, haphazardly, and unlawfully” combining databases without proper oversight.
It further warned that the US citizens’ personal and financial data could be swept up and misused.
“They’re going to take the information we already have and put it into a system,” a Trump administration official told CNN. “It will be able to rapidly queue information. Everyone is converting to Palantir.”
Trump was asked by TIME about whether the database would be used for immigration enforcement, to which, he answered "not that I know of."
However, public documents suggest otherwise, saying, Palantir’s contract with DHS explicitly covers “streamlining selection and apprehension operations of illegal aliens.”

Notably, Palantir Technologies is a controversial Silicon Valley data analytics firm co-founded by Trump ally Peter Thiel. Also read: Not 'innocent': Trump administration's flip-flop deportation adds to American man's woes in El Salvador According to sources, it is an unprecedented attempt to centralise personal information from multiple agencies into a single source. WATCH | Trump's deportation plan stalled as courts rule on Alien Enemies Act It also raised concerns amongst Democratic lawmakers and privacy advocates. Everyone is converting to Palantir.” Trump was asked by TIME about whether the database would be used for immigration enforcement, to which, he answered "not that I know of." However, public documents suggest otherwise, saying, Palantir’s contract with DHS explicitly covers “streamlining selection and apprehension operations of illegal aliens.” Also read: ‘One hell of a president’: Trump praises ‘world’s coolest dictator’ Bukele as El Salvador jails US deportees in mega-prison

'Speed up aliens' deportation': Elon Musk's DOGE goons building 'deportation machine' from sensitive personal data

Sycamore Knoll, an underwater structure that some say is an alien base, is garnering attention on social media again. It is flat with a table-like top and located only a few miles off the coast of Southern California. Details of the structure went viral after it was seen on Google Earth in 2014. However, reports suggest that it is no longer visible on the platform. Although you can still see it on other mapping platforms.
Sycamore Knoll is about 2,000 feet below the surface and 6.6 miles off the coast of Malibu. On Google Maps, it is located at geographic coordinates 34° 1'23.31″N 118° 59'45.64″W.
Daily UFO, an X handle, also posted in January, that Sycamore Knoll is no longer visible on Google Earth and has been blurred. This has triggered speculations about the true nature of the underwater structure.

WION speaks exclusively to scientist who discovered signs of life on a planet 120 light-years away

The hunt for alien life in the universe has been going on for years. Now we finally have a planet where someone likely lives, although whether it is intelligent life or mere microbes is not known. Scientists at the University of Cambridge, led by Dr Nikku Madhusudhan, announced that K2-18b, a planet orbiting a red dwarf star 124 light-years away, has all the characteristics exhibited by life.
However, before humans rush to make contact with life on this planet, it is important that caution is exercised. Experts have long warned that trying to find aliens and then reaching out to them might bring devastating consequences for humanity. They suggest learning about the civilisation thoroughly before firing up relations with them.

Former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief S Somanath previously warned that alien civilisations in the universe are likely at different stages of technological advancements. A civilisation that is 1,000 years ahead of us might be interacting with the universe in ways human beings cannot perceive.
But Somanath isn't interested in contacting aliens. "I would be happy to never be in contact with aliens," he said on a podcast.

More about planet K2-18b

Using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), astronomers concluded that the planet is 2.6 times larger than Earth. The space telescope detected water vapour in its atmosphere, making it the first exoplanet in the habitable zone where water is present. The team said there is a 99.7 per cent likelihood that it hosts biological life.
K2-18b's atmosphere contains dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and dimethyl disulphide (DMDS). These biosignatures are also found on Earth at about one part per billion. On K2-18b, it is present in 10 parts per million on K2-18b.

Will humans hear back from aliens on K2-18b? Not for at least 248 years

An alien encounter in Siberia 35 years ago turned a Soviet military unit into stone, with two of them managing to survive the strange encounter. This has been revealed in 250-page top-secret documents that reached the CIA and were declassified in 2000. A Soviet military unit, during an exercise, spotted a flying saucer hovering above them. Someone shot the spacecraft, which fell to the ground.
Five humanoids, or aliens, stepped out of the wreckage. They came together and merged into a ball before exploding and releasing intense energy that reportedly turned 23 of the 25 men into stone.
The documents about the terrifying alien encounter came up for discussion on Josh Hooper's Evil podcast. According to the documents, at that time, the US government had known about the existence of aliens and what they looked like for 80 years.

But the encounter proved them wrong in many ways, and their weapons and technology far surpassed their assumptions.
The documents reportedly further suggest that the debris from the spacecraft and the remains of the soldiers were moved to a secret research base near Moscow.

The exact year in which the chilling incident happened is not mentioned in the papers. It is assumed that the alien visit in Siberia happened between 1989 and 1990. The story was also carried by the Ukrainian newspaper Holos Ukrayiny on March 27, 1993. The United States found the KGB documents detailing the alien encounter after the fall of the Soviet Union.

The paper states that while the Soviet military unit was carrying out routine training manoeuvres, a low-flying spaceship in the shape of a saucer appeared above them. Someone then launched a surface-to-air missile and shot it down. What led to the attack is now known. The spacecraft fell down, and out came "five short humanoids with large heads and large black eyes."

Aliens merged into a ball and exploded

Citing the two soldiers who survived, the documents state that the aliens freed themselves from the debris and came close together. They "merged into a single object that acquired a spherical shape." The object started buzzing and hissing sharply and turned bright white.

The sphere started to expand and exploded, releasing an extremely bright light. This turned 23 soldiers into stone poles. Two soldiers who were in the shadow and less exposed to the light survived.
The remains were transferred to a secret scientific research institution near Moscow. The stone into which the soldiers were transformed had almost the same molecular structure as limestone. The source of light used by the aliens is still unknown to humans, the documents state.

The universe has always been a realm of mystery For decades, scientists have believed that dark energy is constant. However, studies revealed that dark energy could be weakening over time, which could change everything that we know about the fate of the universe so far. This has raised questions on whether the universe has, in fact, stopped expanding. This report explains how the European Space Agency's mission is using artificial intelligence to search through new scientific data to look for signs of extraterrestrial life. Are we alone in the universe? Could distant planets harbor life?

Is dark energy losing strength?

The Peru alien mummies have grabbed headlines for months now, with journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan claiming that they belong to creatures from another planet, and others calling them dummy dolls. Now a team of researchers has concluded that the alien mummies are "100 percent real".
Daily Mail reported that the scientists studied a mummy named Antonio. A small camera was used to learn more about its skull which threw up fascinating findings. They found the alien mummy to be completely real, contrary to claims that they were made with artificial objects.

The team discovered human-like features in three cavities of its skull.
Dr José Zalce, former director of the Mexican Navy Medical Department, told the publication that the structures they discovered were "practically identical to those of humans". The most striking feature was the second and third molars observed in the oral cavity.
Dr Zalce stated that the skull itself was extremely similar to that of humans, with its bone structure, bony eye sockets and mouth being almost the same. They found "well-preserved anatomical structures" throughout the skull.

The findings further revealed the absence of any kind of artificial objects, disputing similar claims. Studying the alien mummy Antonio led researchers to conclude that it is genuine.

Who is Antonio, a Peru mummy?

Antonio is the latest alien mummy to be found in the Nazca desert of Peru. It was publicly displayed in Dec 2024 and has three fingers, an elongated head and small eyes. Describing the alien mummy, Dr Zalce said, "[Antonio] is approximately 5.5 to 5.7 feet tall. He is about 1,500 years old and in a developmental stage comparable to that of a young adult."

Dr Zalce says that barring the three fingers with more joints than a regular human, there is very little that differentiates it from a normal human being. "Aside from the tridactylism [three fingers] and greater bone robustness—both visible anatomical differences—there is not much else that distinguishes it from a normal modern human," said Dr Zalce.

In 2022, they were displayed in Mexico's Congress where Maussan stressed that they had extra-terrestrial origins.

Bulgarian blind mystic Baba Vanga, also known as Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, who died at the age of 85 in 1996, made some terrific prophecies for 2025.
Known as the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans,' Baba Vanga is believed to have developed the gift of prophecy after losing her eyesight at the age of 12.
One of the most prominent predictions of Baba Vanga that turned out to be true was the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers in New York.

Here's what Baba Vanga predicted for 2025

A lot of chilling predictions were made by Baba Vanga for 2025, many of which included destruction and death. Here are a few of her chilling prophecies:

Europe's destruction

As reported by the Daily Star, Baba Vanga had predicted the West's absolute destruction and war.
"As soon as Syria falls, expect a great war between the West and the East. In the spring, a war in the East will begin, and there will be a Third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West," she said.

A mysterious black rock has been found by scientists on Mars which suggested that the Red Planet had hot springs billions of years ago.

In new research, scientists have found new evidence which has hinted at the existence of water on the planet more than four billion years ago, which has hinted at the planet being habitable.

A sample of the meteorite was examined by academics from Curtin University in Australia, and while looking at a grain of the black crystal rock called zicron, the experts were able to find evidence that hinted at the planet being hospitable long ago.

Scientists discovered that the sample dated back to 4.45 billion years ago when it has been estimated that planet Earth was formed.

Fingerprints on water of grain?

During the study of the rock, scientists found 'fingerprints' on the water of the grain, which hinted at the existence of hot water on the Red Planet.

It is believed to have existed like hydrothermal springs, which are heated by magma that flows under the crust of the planet.

As per the experts, hot springs play an important role in life which evolves on Earth. The evidence of the existence of such springs suggests that the Red Planet may have possessed the ability to support ancient life.

Speaking to The Sun, the study's co-author, Dr Aaron Cavosie, said that nano-scale geochemistry was used for finding the evidence of hot water on the planet.

"Hydrothermal systems were essential for the development of life on Earth, and our findings suggest Mars also had water, a key ingredient for habitable environments, during the earliest history of crust formation," said Dr Cavosie while speaking to the publication.

"Through nano-scale imaging and spectroscopy, the team identified element patterns in this unique zircon, including iron, aluminium, yttrium and sodium," he added.

"These elements were added as the zircon formed 4.45 billion years ago, suggesting water was present during early Martian magmatic activity. This new study takes us a step further in understanding early Mars, by way of identifying tell-tale signs of water-rich fluids from when the grain formed, providing geochemical markers of water in the oldest known Martian crust," Dr Cavosie further stated.

This discovery comes after the Mars Rover of NASA found the first "possible" signs of the existence of life on the planet.

Were aliens enjoying hot springs on Mars 4.5 billion years ago? Here's what ancient evidence hints at

Conspiracy theories about alien spacecraft visiting Earth have been abound for decades. In the 1960s and 70s, UFOs were seen hovering over military bases in the United States, leading people to speculate that an alien invasion might be on the horizon.

While all such reports have been dismissed since then, every now and then someone speaks up about the stories, claiming them to be true. A UFO expert has now claimed that the spaceships visited "every major nuclear missile base" in those years, and they still do.

The revelation was made by Robert Hastings based on several interviews he conducted with several Army personnel, as per The Daily Mail. "The ones that are currently operational, have been visited repeatedly year after year according to the sources that I have interviewed," he says in his recent book UFOs and Nuke.

He had earlier claimed that more than 120 former service members admitted to having encountered flying objects near nuclear weapon storage and testing grounds. Hastings says in his new book that these extraterrestrial beings seem to be "greatly interested in our nuclear weapons."

"Perhaps they have a use for our planet, let's say for scientific purposes, and know that global nuclear warfare will disrupt their data-gathering and/or experiments," he writes.

Hastings further alleges in his book that these sightings have never been properly investigated because of dubious layers of classification.

These claims come just weeks after new government records showed other UFO sightings near military sites. This includes 17 nights in December 2023 when several UFOs were spotted over Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

In June this year, a study on UFO sightings concluded that "this intelligence understands atomics, and they understand atomic weaponry."

The study, conducted by a retired US Air Force staff sergeant, data analyst affiliated with Harvard's UFO-hunting Galileo Project Ian Porrit and a research team, analysed over 500 of the most credible UFO cases reported during the Cold War. The group focused on official military and police reports of UFOs from 1945 to 1975. Only those with strong backing, like multiple witnesses and signal evidence, were taken into account and anything ambiguous was avoided.

Aliens have been watching over US nuclear missile bases for decades, UFO expert claims

Earth is heating up and climate change is threatening its existence. But, we might not be the only world in the cosmos to inflict this horror upon ourselves. As per a new model, an advanced alien civilisation can destroy its planet because of climate change in less than 1,000 years. This, the researchers say stands true even if they are using renewable sources of energy.

The new research has been posted to the preprint database arXiv and is being peer-reviewed.

The study touts that any civilisation that is experiencing massive technological growth and energy consumption, would heat up its planet and make it uninhabitable in less than 1,000 years. This is irrespective of its energy sources, since no matter what they use, there would be inevitable leakage in the form of heat, as predicted by the laws of thermodynamics.

The scientists conducting the study noticed that human energy use had witnessed a major increase since the 1800s. In 2023 alone, about 180,000 terawatt hours (TWh) of energy was used, almost the same amount of energy that hits Earth from the sun.

Gas and coal are the major sources of this energy, and are heating up the planet. However, even if wind and solar power were creating this energy, the planet would continue to become hotter since the population would also keep increasing, consequently pushing up the demand for more energy.

Planets will always eventually heat up

Manasvi Lingam, an astrophysicist at Florida Tech and a co-author of the study, told Live Science that the team applied the second law of thermodynamics to this problem. According to this law, no energy system is perfect and some amount of energy will always escape the system. This escaped energy will cause a planet to heat up over time.

The team found that as this energy leakage builds up more and more, the planet will eventually overheat to a point where it is no longer habitable. More and more energy creation will lead to disastrous levels of climate change and only needs less than 1,000 years from the start of energy production.

Scientists also cite this as a reason why they cannot find life elsewhere in the universe. They say that 1,000 years pass in the blink of an eye in cosmic terms, considering planets like Earth take hundreds of millions of years to become habitable.

So what is the solution?

The team suggests a civilisation should choose equilibrium and flatline its growth. Living in "harmony with its surroundings", a species and its descendants "could survive maybe up to a billion years," Lingham said.
