A NASA filmmaker has claimed that evidence of intelligent alien life has been found by the telescopes on Earth and it will be released in less than a month.

Filmmaker Simon Holland is known to have worked on documentaries for the BBC and NASA-funded projects.

Speaking about the discovery, he said that an Oxford-backed program was looking for extraterrestrial signals and had been able to identify "non-human intelligence in our galaxy."

The signal, which was a five-hour-long burst of radio waves, looked like was generated from a region around Proxima Centauri which is a star that is 4.2 light-years away from Earth.

The team from Oxford stated that they have been analysing the signal but did not reveal its likely source.

"They are looking for details, hence the delay in publishing the news," said Holland, while speaking to DailyMail.com regarding the strange radio signal which has remained a hot debate since it was first detected on April 29, 2019.

YouTuber 'Prof Simon' Holland claimed that he had received confirmation of the discovery of proof of alien life from a source inside the $100 million nonprofit 'Breakthrough Listen'.

Holland said that the signal is currently in the "low information zone". "The technical hurdles faced are that the signal is very weak," he added.

Citing a source from the Oxford-led nonprofit project Breakthrough Listen, Holland said that the evidence supports the theory that the signal originated from an advanced alien species.

"My contact is a senior EU [European Union] radio telescope administrator," said Holland, while speaking to DailyMail.com.

"We have found a non-human extraterrestrial intelligence in our galaxy and people don't know about it," he added.

However, Holland said that this may not happen this time.

"The signal, instead of being the giant buzz of everything in the universe that we hear through all radio telescopes, was a narrow electromagnetic spectrum," he said.

"It's a single point source,' Holland emphasized in his interview Thursday, meaning that he has been told the signal is unlikely to be local or noise from deep space. They found the evidence of a non-human technological signature," Holland said.

Earth's telescopes have evidence of aliens, will reveal it next month, claims NASA filmmaker

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk does not think UFOs seen in the US sky are alien spacecraft. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, he alleged that these UFOs people claim to see are likely just the US government’s highly classified "new weapons programmes".

Musk stated that as in charge of his Space Exploration company, he has “not seen any evidence of aliens” ever.

Talking about humanity and the universe, he admitted that “there’s a lot we don’t know".

“Where did we come from? Where are the aliens?” Musk said to Carlson.

He cited the satellites in space to explain that aliens can't possibly exist. Musk stated that there are over "6,000 satellites" in orbit but we have “not once had to manoeuvre around an alien spacecraft.”

Carlson asked Musk why is the US military doing "a lot of manoeuvring around objects they can’t explain." To this, Musk responded, "Well, unidentified flying objects are one thing, but there are always a bunch of classified programs that are underway."

He believes that the US government is regularly testing "new aircraft, new missiles, and things" and all of them are classified, which is why it is going around these topics. He claimed that the programmes are so secret that several people high up in the chain of command in the US military are also not aware of them.

“Some pilot sees something moving fast and says, ‘Hey, I saw a UFO!'” But he says it might just be a new weapons programme that is being experimented on a need-to-know basis.

Musk says he will tell all if he ever encounters aliens

Meanwhile, Musk promised to make a full revelation to the general public if he ever comes across evidence of aliens. "The split second I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post that on the X platform,” he said. “It will probably be our number one post of all time."

Earlier in 2023, Musk said that he doesn't think the government is hiding the existence of aliens. He admitted that he hoped the aliens were real and friendly.

Musk went on to claim that if aliens existed, the government would turn them into villains to gain more military spending.

Several UFO sightings have been reported in the US over the years, however, none have been confirmed to belong to extra-terrestrial life. Reports suggest that Congress wants the Pentagon to look into its UFO files from the time World War II ended.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence went through 366 fresh sightings of "unidentified aerial phenomena", and found that 26 of them were drones, 163 were "balloon or balloon-like entities", and six were “attributed to clutter” in the air.

It may appear to be a prank to many, but this TikToker is seriously claiming that he is a 'time traveller' from 2671 who has travelled across ages to warn humans about the catastrophic events due to happen this year.

Eno Alaric, who is @radianttimetraveller on TikTok, has more than 900,000 followers and is posting predictions about events in the future.

He had earlier warned about aliens visiting our planet, twin planets colliding with Earth and beginning of the World War 3.

In his latest post, he has come up with five catastrophic events which he claims will take place before the year 2024 comes to an end.

“Wild events to come in 2024…) “Many of you still don’t believe I am a real-time traveller so remember these five events to come in the final months of 2024," he began his predictions.

Here are five catastrophic events predicted by time-traveller

His first prediction is about the discovery of skyscraper-sized giraffes and other oversized animals in Australia. He said that this discovery will be made on September 20.

“Large versions of 70 different types of animals are found in a hidden part of Australia. This includes 3ft spiders, 60ft butterflies, and even giraffes as tall as skyscrapers," the time-traveller claimed.

He further predicted that the Sun would emit a different kind of energy on October 23, which would help humans in learning about their own mortality.

“The Sun lets out a rare and unknown type of energy that allows people to see how they pass. This happens to millions of people every day for about three months, some learn they never pass and have immortality," Eno stated.

He further predicted that a celebrity musician, who is believed to be dead, will reappear on October 25. “A very famous celebrity comes out and reveals he faked his own passing. He was known as a ‘legend’ and will be the most famous person on Earth when he returns to making music,” he claimed.

The last two events he predicted were the most catastrophic and worrisome, which are the disappearance of the Sun for a week and the discovery of an alien artefact that will spread a disease with no cure.

“November 9: The Sun disappears for a week straight, causing the world to go into its first Purge. November 12: An alien artefact is found buried beneath the ice in Antarctica. It contains a mysterious disease, it spreads quickly through the world, it has no cure," he stated.

'Time-traveller' says on THESE five dates the world will witness catastrophic events this year. They are...

Humans have always been intrigued about whether life exists anywhere else in the universe. People claim to have seen UFOs in our skies, and some so-called experts also say that the US government is hiding proof that aliens have visited us. Recently, a former US intelligence officer Luis Elizondo claimed that the aliens are hiding on the Earth and threatening humanity. Then there are the so-called alien mummies that were unveiled at a Mexican congressional hearing by UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan.

All this chatter about aliens has led millions of people to believe in the existence of aliens. However, a new paper suggests that too much alien talk is leading to a "widespread societal problem.”

“This belief is slightly paradoxical as we have zero evidence that aliens even exist,” Tony Milligan, a research fellow in the philosophy of ethics at King’s College in London wrote for The Conversation.

He adds that to think that aliens will make contact by visiting us seems absurd.

“What’s more, given the vast distances between star systems, it seems odd we’d only learn about them from a visit. Evidence for aliens is more likely to come from signals from faraway planets,” he added.

Milligan says that “dangerous” statistics show that nearly a quarter of Americans believe they have seen a UFO.

He believes that recent federal hearings on the matter of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) and UFOs are further fuelling conspiracy theories and this can prove dangerous to democratic institutions.

Notably, Luis had also said that the US government has known about their existence for years and is hiding extraterrestrial vehicles.

A pre-UAP commission 2019 Gallup poll showed that 68 per cent of people believe that “the US government knows more about UFOs than it is telling," he said.

The constant discussions on aliens can also derail actual efforts to find extraterrestrial life, he says.

“Too much background noise about UFOs and UAPs can also get in the way of legitimate science communication about the possibility of finding microbial extraterrestrial life,” Milligan states.

STOP with the alien talk, it is a danger to the society, British academic says

Former US intelligence officer Luis Elizondo, who has served in the US military in Afghanistan and Kuwait and was part of various anti-terrorism missions, has claimed that the aliens are hiding on the Earth and threatening humanity.

The official has also admitted that his "blood ran cold" when his children said that they saw a green and glowing orb hovering in the air near their family home in Maryland.

The three-dimensional mysterious ball was "translucent and suffused with an eerie green light" and "behaved as if guided by some intelligence", said Elizondo, as reported by The Daily Mail.

He said that he himself on another occasion saw a glowing green object, which was the size of a basketball and had "soft edges that weren’t defined" and was floating slowly from their kitchen to bedroom before suddenly disappearing.

Elizondo further claimed that the United States government is completely aware of the presence of aliens on Earth but has been concealing and covering up all the facts related to it.

Aliens are hiding here on Earth and Pentagon is aware of it, claims former US intelligence officer

The universe is filled with billions of celestial bodies, galaxies, exoplanets, stars and more. But Earth seems to be the only place in this vast world harbouring life. At least that's what years of research have shown. Humans have been trying to make contact with other alien civilisations but have not succeeded yet. So are we alone in the universe?

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief S Somanath doesn't seem to think so. Speaking to Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast, Somanath said that considering the technological advancements human beings have made in the past years, it seems only apt that there are several alien civilisations spread out in the universe that are at different stages of technological advancements.

He stated that different technological and evolutionary stages mean that these alien civilisations are likely interacting with the universe in ways human beings cannot perceive.

"Imagine there is a civilisation out there just 200 years behind you, and another civilisation 1,000 years ahead of you," Somanath said.

"Alien systems which are 1,000 years more progressive than us will always have been here," he said, stating that they are "much more evolved" than us and are beyond our current understanding or detection capabilities.

As human beings work to advance their technology and reach a better understanding of the universe over time, other civilisations that have been around for many more years likely already know much more and are living a life we cannot understand.

Human beings, he says, are relatively younger in the cosmos and so such civilisations may reside in the universe that are far ahead of us. So while we are still trying to find them, they are likely around us and exist in ways we don't know yet.

Somanath added that "origins of life and much evolved [forms]... are everywhere in the universe."

Should humans contact alien civilisations?

"I would be happy to never be in contact with aliens," Somanath warns. Sounding a cautionary note, the ISRO chief says coming in contact with alien civilisations might come with several risks. He says that they might have entirely different genomic and protein structures from us and might prove to be a danger to life on Earth.

He also warned that interaction between different life forms might also lead to conflict and a fight for dominance.

The two boys encountered the UFO at the Trinity nuclear test site, where the first nuclear bomb of the world was successfully tested by Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project's other members in 1945.

When he heard the sound of the crash, Padilla said that he first thought it was another bomb test, while speaking to CBS News Los Angeles.

"I told my friend, 'it must be another test from the bomb' and he said, 'No, it's not a bomb, look at the smoke coming out of the ground,'' said Padilla.

After closer inspection, they found that the smoke is coming from a crashed aircraft.

Suddenly, three extraterrestrials came out of the aircraft and started "sashaying and running in circles. They had crashed at my father's ranch, and they needed help," he added.

How did the man manage to take a piece of UFO spacecraft?

Padilla said that the wreckage was cleaned up by the military in the next ten days as he and his friend watched the process from a ridge even though they were warned to stay away from the area.

Padilla said that he entered the aircraft with his friends when the soldiers took a break and the process of cleaning up the wreckage was halted.

The "extraterrestrials" were not there which gave the perfect opportunity to Padilla to take a souvenir from inside the spacecraft.

He took a small 'dial' off the wall and kept it hidden in his garage. The artefact was analysed by Ohio-based chemical testing lab Frontier Analysis in 2015.

In the report, it was revealed that the artefact had aluminium mixed with silicon and copper, as reported by CBS Los Angeles.

This kind of mix of metals is generally found in engine parts and the report said that isotopic ratios were terrestrial, however, it did not rule out the extraterrestrial source for the metals. "No one knows what it is," said Padilla.

Man claims to have witnessed UFO crash, kept a souvenir made of 'extraterrestrial metals'

In a new study, scientists have suggested that advanced alien civilisations may have been migrating near miniature black holes to fulfil the energy needs of their home planets.

There is a possibility that these aliens are capturing the unlimited energy around the black holes and taking it back to their planets.

In the study, Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has suggested that these black hole “moons” can be a sign of advanced aliens and can help scientists in understanding the life outside the Solar System.

It is known that black holes emit photons and large sub-atomic particles which are collectively called Hawking Radiation, named after physicist Stephen Hawking.

The momentum of the rotating disc of matter which is around the black hole is likely to have been utilised by the aliens to produce energy in this system, suggested scientists.

According to Dr Loeb, another way could have been to feed matter in the black hole and create Hawking Radiation.

The Harvard scientist suggested that such kinds of black holes should weigh only 100,000 tonnes.

Dr Loeb said that in exchange for the matter thrown inside black holes, they can provide “an endless supply of power”.

“This black hole system is the most efficient engine I ever thought about. The fuel is converted to energy with perfect efficiency of 100 per cent as the mass falling into the black hole is ultimately coming out as Hawking Radiation,” Dr Loeb said.

Aliens may be exploiting miniature black hole 'moons' for energy: Study

Scientists recorded a strange signal from space in 1977. It was captured by the Ohio State University's Big Ear radio telescope and no viable explanation has been presented for it. What was it? Where did it come from? These questions continue to stump scientists.

The WOW signal was a 72-second burst, and it was so strange that astronomer Jerry Ehman wrote 'WOW!' on the telescope's readout. People wondered whether an alien civilisation was trying to make contact with Earth.

However, a fresh explanation for the WOW! signal has been put forward by experts. According to a new analysis by scientists from the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo, the WOW! signal does not hint at the existence of alien life.

They say that it was probably caused by an extremely powerful laser slamming into Earth. This happened when a rare alignment happened between a collapsed star and a cloud of cool hydrogen.

Professor Abel Méndez and his team say that they have identified a series of similar signals which can explain where the WOW! signal came from. They went through archived data from the Arecibo Observatory's Radio Emissions from Red Dwarf Stars (REDS) project. It had a similar experimental set-up to the Big Ear radio telescope. This prompted the team to assume that it also likely caught a signal like the WOW! signal in the past.

The data showed that several extremely similar but faint signals had appeared. Four of the signals came from a tiny red dwarf star called Teegarden's Star located 12.5 light-years away.

It is surrounded by clouds of cool atomic hydrogen and when intense light from the red dwarf hits them, a powerful burst of microwave energy in the 1420 MHz is produced, the researchers said.

This results in a natural microwave laser which is extremely similar to the WOW! signal. The scientists say that the WOW! signal likely happened as a result of a more powerful burst of energy which collided with a hydrogen cloud. This resulted in the production of a much bigger microwave laser.

What happened when WOW! signal was detected

The WOW! signal sent waves of excitement in the scientific community when it hit in 1977. It was seen as the first Hello from an alien civilisation. It was extremely powerful and arrived in an unusually narrow band of frequencies at around 1420 MHz. Since similar frequencies are produced by atomic hydrogen, scientists theorised that aliens are likely using the abundant hydrogen in space to send a signal to other civilisations that might be present in the universe.

Astrophysicist Adam Frank has warned scientists against sending signals to extra-terrestrials and trying to communicate with them, as he said that people should be cautious regarding these activities as humans are unaware of the potential of alien life out in space.

The physicist, who accepts that aliens may exist at least as microbial life beyond Earth, said that it is better to "lay low" and not try communicating with aliens which is similar to "sticking your head out the grass and saying we're tasty".

However, he thinks that at least microbial life present in the universe "can certainly be inhabited".

Alien hunter says humans are 'tasty' for extraterrestrials, contacting UFOs can...

A UFO campaigner has claimed that the Vatican is holding information about aliens and is hiding secrets in its archives. A report by The Sun quotes extraterrestrial lobbyist Steve Bassett as saying that documented evidence about UFOs is hidden in the Catholic Church's archives. Bassett claims that the church has "always known, has been aware of this subject going back perhaps hundreds and hundreds of years".

He added that the Vatican Library and archives hold "extraordinary" information about aliens and UFOs gathered through centuries. Bassett says that the church believes that aliens exist and cites religious paintings as proof of their belief.

Notably, David Grusch, a United States Air Force (USAF) officer and former intelligence official, told a Congressional hearing in 2023 that the US possesses several pieces of "non-human spacecraft" and specimens of their dead pilots.

Grusch claimed to have seen documents according to which Mussolini's government recovered a spacecraft of non-human origin in 1933. He added that the then-Pope Pius XII helped the US procure this spacecraft in 1944 or 1945 during Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. He is "absolutely certain" that the government is hiding an unidentified aerial phenomenon. Grusch publicly claimed that at least 10 aliens were recovered from a craft that crashed on Earth.

However, there is a lack of evidence in the matter and Bassett says an investigation is needed. "Who exactly found it? What was the process in which it finally got to us? What was the role of the Catholic Church? How many people in our Government even knew about it at the point that Roswell happened?" Bassett asks.

Bassett says that if Grusch's claims are true, then it proves that the US government has long known about the existence of aliens.

Experts working on UFOs and aliens are now trying to access Vatican Apostolic Archives, but that needs approval by the Holy See - the church's supreme governing body. Bassett says that is unlikely to happen until the US president formally discloses the existence of aliens.

Meanwhile, author and religious professor Diana Walsh Pasulka agrees the Vatican archives contain accounts of paranormal events.

"The historical record is filled with these kinds of events, the people at the Vatican, they don't even know where to look; it's in their basements," she said.

United States former president Donald Trump is now safe and sound after the assassination attempt and the shooter has died long back, but the conspiracy theories don't seem to die anytime soon.

After claiming that some 'holy spirit' descended on the national flag of the country which had twisted minutes before the attack, the theorists have now taken the discussion further to the idea that some UFO or alien appeared just before the shooting and saved Trump's life.

A new footage has gone viral in which a flying disk has been spotted behind the flag, which many have claimed was an unidentified flying object (UFO) that made its appearance minutes before Trump was shot at the stage in the Pennsylvania rally on July 13.

Aliens trying communicating to humans, keep getting blocked by mysterious Earth barrier, claims Reddit user

Are we alone in this universe? A recent study claims aliens could be living among us. Watch to know more!

Study: Secret aliens could be here on Earth already

There's no solid proof that can verify numerous claims regarding aliens and unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings over the centuries, but enthusiasts will keep probing the existence of life beyond planet Earth.

In the latest paper, a team of researchers from Harvard and Montana Technological University made a bizarre claim as they said that an unidentified and technologically advanced population could be living secretly among us.

The researchers have jotted down their hypothesis in a new paper published in June 2024 in ResearchGate, which is a European commercial social networking site for scientists and researchers to share papers.

The abstract of the paper mentioned that "...the notion that UAP may reflect activities of intelligent beings concealed in stealth here on Earth (e.g., underground), and/or its near environs (e.g., the moon), and/or even "walking among us" (e.g., passing as humans)."

The researchers admitted that the idea is likely to be regarded "sceptically" by most scientists, but they argued that such is the nature of some UAP and hence, the possibility should not be dismissed. They said that the idea deserves "genuine consideration in a spirit of epistemic humility and openness".

Researchers said that hypotheses for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) fall into two classes. First is a conventional terrestrial explanation, that is human-made technology). The second is an extraterrestrial explanation, that is advanced civilizations from elsewhere in the cosmos.

However, they said that they focused on a third hypothesis, which is an "unconventional terrestrial explanation" and present outside the prevailing consensus view of the universe.

"This is the ultraterrestrial hypothesis, which includes as a subset the "cryptoterrestrial" hypothesis," researchers said.

News related to aliens and UFOs intrigues humans

Despite a lack of credible information, people across the world are intrigued by news or conspiracy theories related to aliens and UFOs. In fact, the United States government has taken a serious interest in UFOs. Earlier this year in March, the Pentagon released a report outlining the government's historical record of UAP.

The report was the first of an expected two volumes by the Department of Defense's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office that examine and analyse information gathered by the US government about UAP sightings.

However, the report states that the office found no evidence that any government investigation, academic research or official review panel has confirmed that any UAP sighting "represented extraterrestrial technology."

'Aliens' and UFO civilisation could be living on Earth in 'stealth' mode: Report

A speculative new paper suggests that advanced "cryptoterrestrials" could be living secretly on Earth or in its near environs, like the moon.

This study, which is yet to be peer-reviewed, is the work of researchers at the Harvard Human Flourishing Program and Montana Technological University.

What are Cryptoterrestrials?

The paper introduces the term "cryptoterrestrials" to refer to an ancient human culture—more technologically advanced than our own—that survived the cataclysms and has lived since in hiding.

It suggests the existence of a bizarre group of "intelligent beings concealed in stealth here on Earth (e.g., underground), and/or its near environs (e.g., the moon)."

The study has been accepted for publication in Philosophy and Cosmology.

The authors suggest that these hidden Earth-dwellers may actually be responsible for all the unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) typically attributed to extraterrestrial beings, aka aliens.

Human cryptoterrestrials

They suggest that one potential category of these beings are "human cryptoterrestrials," which are a "technologically advanced ancient human civilisation that was largely destroyed long ago (e.g., by flood), but continued to exist in remnant form."

Possible habitation sites, as per the paper, may be hidden within the Earth in places like volcanoes or deep oceanic trenches.

Astonishingly, this is nothing new. In 1993, Dr. Shirley Wright, known for having been personal assistant to Albert Einstein, claimed that the pilots aboard the now topical Roswell UFO crash incident of 1947 were "advanced human" beings living inside Earth.

The work also considers alternative crypto terrestrial possibilities, including highly advanced non-human primates or reptilian entities that are believed to hide their aerial craft within mountains.

Locations such as Popocatépetl volcano, Mexico, and Mount Shasta in California, long associated with UFO sightings, were proposed as potential residences for these clandestine creatures.

Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs) operating at supersonic speeds have also encouraged speculation on these cryptoterrestrial beings living under water.

The paper even goes so far as to quote some contentious statements from Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb that the Moon might even be a base for extraterrestrials.

'Cryptoterrestrials' living among us? Harvard researchers suggest ancient races are hiding in volcanoes

A mysterious hole was captured on the surface of Mars by the High-Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera of NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) which left scientists wondering what lies beneath it.

The mysterious hole is located in the Arsia Mons region and has raised several questions regarding its origin and what it must be hiding.

Arsia Mons is among the trio of dormant volcanoes which clearly hints at the area having a history of volcanic activities. The pit is just a few meters across and is located in the Arsia Mons region of Mars.

Here's what scientists have speculated about the Martian hole

Amongst various speculations, one of the main theories suggest that the hole can be a skylight into an underground lava tube. This theory has been built on the fact that similar formations have been seen on Earth in volcanic regions like Hawaii.

Such types of skylights are formed when a lava tube's roof collapses and creates an opening. If what is being speculated is actually the reality, then lava tubes can become natural shelters for future astronauts, while giving them protection from harsh surface conditions like radiation, temperature extremes, and dust storms.

It is likely that the lava tubes created on the Martian surface are more extensive because of the lower gravity of the planet which offers large and stable environments that is suitable for long-term habitation.

There is also a possibility that the hole is just a pit which has been formed by tectonic or volcanic processes. Such pits are commonly found on Earth and are created after the ground, which is above a void created by volcanic activity, collapses.

However, scientists have till now not determined what is the exact nature of the mysterious hole on the Martian surface.

Lava tube - a habitat of aliens?

It is important to understand the nature of such formations on the surface of Mars for future human exploration.

If the hole actually goes to a lava tube then it has the possibility of becoming an ideal habitable zone.

Lava tubes have a stable environment which can shelter inhabitants from the extreme conditions of the planet.

Since there is lower gravity on Mars, there is a chance that the lava tubes are much larger on the Red Planet in comparison to Earth.

This makes these lava tubes more suitable for human habitation. Larger lava tubes are likely to give expansive and stable environments which can be best for constructing permanent bases.

They can also provide suitable environments for agriculture and even support life systems which are important for long-term human presence on Mars.

A groundskeeper in the North Carolina mountains has found a bizarre space object. The groundskeeper, identified as one Justin Clontz as well as his co-worker were reportedly handling maintenance around a luxury campsite when they reacted with shock after finding massive object covered in dense metal sheets held together by out-of-this-world looking bolts.

"It’s once in a lifetime you know, it don’t happen every day," Clontz told a local TV station.

The local TV station described the strange object covered in an inch-thick burnt carbon fiber that was nearly 4 feet tall.

"We don’t know what it is. We just know that it’s not from up here," Clontz said.

The men reportedly lifted the heavy object by tying a lawn mower and rope.

"It’s a one in a million chance that it lands, especially if it landed somewhere off the trail in the woods you’d have never found it but it just happened to land on the trail," Clontz said.

There are speculations that the object could have fallen to earth from SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, according to Space.com.

Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer and astrophysicist at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics told a TV station that areas from Tennessee through Virginia and West Virginia have the highest chances of being impact zones for debris from the Crew Dragon.

Alien object or SpaceX Dragon debris? Mysterious space object found in North Carolina

Locals in a small coastal town in Japan were left bewildered by the sight of nine mysterious pillars of light popping up in the night sky above the ocean.

The phenomenon occurred near Tottori prefecture, Japan, on May 11, prompting residents to speculate about its origins. As expected, many were quick to speculate if the eerie lights in the sky were of alien origin. So were they? Were the mysterious lights of aliens beaming people up, or something even more nefarious?

A scientist has claimed that researchers are trying to build small “handheld” nuclear reactors to help lure aliens to our home planet. The idea is based on the long-held notion that aliens find it easier to detect nuclear reactors, radiation or weapons. Scientists to install nuclear-powered UFO detectors in space to lure aliens to Earth, claims expert

The existence of aliens has always been a hot topic of discussion among humans. While some believe in their presence, others deny it. Elon Musk too isn't convinced that aliens have ever visited our planet Earth.

The James Webb space telescope, which is the most powerful space telescope ever built, has discovered what is being hailed as the “strongest, most promising sign” of life on another planet. Nasa now plans to embark on a new mission to study this exciting sign of alien life found on the exoplanet k2-18b planet which is '124 light-years away'. Watch this report to know how Phytoplanktons found in our oceans is guiding the search for extraterrestrial life.

Gravitas: Most promising indication of life on another planet found

Scientists have spotted a gas "only produced by life" on a distant planet that could ultimately prove that Earth is not the only planter in this vast cosmos to host life.

Scientists have spotted a gas "only produced by life" on a distant planet that could ultimately prove that Earth is not the only planter in this vast cosmos to host life. On Friday, NASA's James Webb Telescope went on a mission towards K2-18b to probe the most tantalising hints of alien life ever. The gas dimethyl sulphide (DMS) found on K2-18b has only one source on our planet - living beings. NASA explained that it mainly comes from "phytoplankton in marine environments". Dr Nikku Madhusudhan, an astrophysicist from the University of Cambridge leading the study, recalled when his analysis showed a possible hint of DMS in the planet's atmosphere last year. He told The Times, "It was a real shock, I had sleepless nights for a week. That week, I didn't even muster the courage to break it to my team." K2-18b Specifications Discovered: 2015 Star: K2-18 Orbital Duration: 33 days Constellation: Leo Mass: 8.6 times that of Earth Radius: 2.6 times that of Earth While the researchers could say with over 50 per cent confidence that DMS was present based on the data sent by the James Webb Telescope last year, Madhusudhan said it was far from "conclusive evidence." He is "super cautious" as any previous claims of discovery of alien life, like fossils on Martian meteorites and phosphine gas in Venetian clouds, have been debunked or challenged by studies offering more plausible explanations. ALSO READ | 'Grab your popcorn', NASA just released mesmerising celestial timelapses captured by Chandra observatory What's Next? Last year, NASA revealed there was the presence of "carbon-bearing molecules including methane and carbon dioxide" on K2-18b. These findings come after the previous discovery that the planet could be a "Hycean exoplanet," meaning it has the potential to possess a hydrogen-rich atmosphere and an ocean-covered surface. Madhusudhan said, "Our findings underscore the importance of considering diverse habitable environments in the search for life elsewhere. Traditionally, the search for life on exoplanets has focused primarily on smaller rocky planets, but the larger Hycean worlds are significantly more conducive to atmospheric observations." However, space enthusiasts will have to wait four to six months for the results while the "theoretical work" on the source of DMS continues. Madhusudhan said, "If we do detect DMS [on K2-18b] it does put it basically at the top for potential signs of habitability." "If you confirm the presence of life, whether or not through DMS, on any exoplanet that’s going to revolutionise scientific history," he added. (With inputs from agencies)

An Earth-like planet? Tantalising proof of life on THIS exoplanet has scientists in 'shock'

The search for extraterrestrial life in our universe has spanned several years and theories. While we may have not found signs of life yet, that hasn't stopped human being's thirst to know if someone is out there. Scientists have been coming up with different ideas and theories to learn about the existence of aliens.

The scientists instead of changing where they are looking for potential alien life, are altering what exactly they are searching for.

A new theory has been proposed by a pair of astronomers on the basis of panspermia, according to which life can begin on one planet and then travel to another planet through meteorites.

The theory is based on "panspermia", which is a fringe theory that suggests all life forms can go from one planet to another by ‘hitching rides’ on meteors.

The latest research has been put forward by astronomers Harrison B. Smith and Lana Sinapayen and has not been peer-reviewed. This research suggests the possibility of panspermia, however, the implications are huge.

The theory of panspermia will help scientists narrow down their search for alien life. This is important as till now more than 5,000 exoplanets have been identified by NASA where there are chances of presence of life and looking at each individually will take years and years.

Scientists have till now not figured out in what form life may exist in the universe beyond Earth and if Earth is truly the only planet that supports life.

Aliens travelling on meteorites to make changes on other planets: Study

Similar to how the conditions on Earth have been altered by life on the planet and in the atmosphere of our planet, which includes adding more oxygen, the aliens are likely to have altered the properties of an exoplanet.

As per the researchers, if the aliens can travel as per panspermia, then they are likely to try to make similar changes on every planet they travel to.

As per the new study, if alien life is searched in this way, it can mean that experts will be able to potentially find clusters of planets close to each other with similar characteristics and this can be an indicator of potential life.

This finding comes at a time when new research has emerged according to which bacteria filled with purple pigments are likely to be hosting extraterrestrial life.

The search for extraterrestrial life in our universe has spanned several years and theories. While we may have not found signs of life yet, that hasn't stopped human being's thirst to know if someone is out there.
