WWE: The Rock reveals what he whispered to Cody Rhodes before mauling him

The WrestleMania season has begun, and the greatest WWE superstar, The Rock, has made his presence felt by getting involved in the storyline, including the Bloodline and Cody Rhodes. On the last episode of Monday Night RAW, The Rock made a shocking appearance on the show, interrupting Rhodes during his promo. Though he didn’t do anything then, the Rock whispered something in Cody’s ears, leaving him shocked and everyone confused.

On the same episode, The Rock took down Cody to the extent that he was left bleeding throughout, as seen in the footage available on social media. Although that attack on WWE’s future superstar is part of the storyline, The Rock’s heel turn is something the fans are enjoying since his return ahead of WrestleMania 40.

Taking to his social media, The Rock finally revealed what he whispered to Cody, saying, “Tonight, I’m gonna make you bleed”, exactly doing what he said.

Referring to himself as the Final Boss, given he is part of the Board of Directors of TKO – the parent company that oversees the merger of WWE and the UFC, The Rock posted a series of posts, taking shots at Cody, and explaining how messing with the ‘Final Boss’ leads anyone to this position.

In one of the other posts, The Rock wrote, “It didn’t have to be this way. But now it’s the only way.

- Final Boss”

The Rock is ready for Mania fever

With the storyline surrounding the Bloodline and Cody reaching its epitome, The Rock’s involvement has given it a different look.

The Rock and the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in what is tagged as the ‘Biggest Tag Team Match’ of all time on Night 1 at Mania. Cody – the 2024 Royal Rumble winner, will face Roman for the Universal Championship on Night 2.

Given a lot is at stake on both nights at WrestleMania, The Rock getting involved in any capacity on night 2 cannot be ruled out.

However, with the final RAW episode set to be aired on Tuesday (April 2), it remains to be seen how Cody replies to the Rock ahead of the Mania showdown.
