
Two professional women cricketers from New Zealand and Australia - Hayley Jensen and Nicola Hancock - and have tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony, last weekend.
The Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rules have been legal in New Zealand since August 19, 2013.
Melbourne Stars in a tweet congratulated the couple where Nicola Hancock, 23, who plays for the Melbourne Stars, and her partner Hayley Jensen, 26, are pictured wearing long white dresses.
"From #TeamGreen, congratulations to Stars bowler Nicola Hancock who married her partner Hayley Jensen last weekend!" the picture was captioned.
The two played for the Melbourne Stars before Jensen made the cross-town move to the Melbourne Renegades.
Last year, South Africa women's cricket team captain Dane van Niekerk and teammate Marizanne Kapp tied the knot.
