At least three Afghanistan National Police soldiers were killed in two separate incidents in Faryab province on Sunday.
As per security official Safar Mohammad, a police soldier was killed in an encounter with the Taliban on Dawlat Abad-Qaramqol highway in the Qaramqol district and one was injured.
He further informed that two national police soldiers, including Qaramqol’s district deputy director of the criminal department, were killed and one other soldier was wounded in a roadside bomb in Qaramqol.

Safar said that the electricity was also cut off during those clashes.
Meanwhile, at least six people including four children have reportedly lost their lives in a blast at Afghanistan's Herat province on Monday.
The blast is said to have taken place near a mosque at Shindand district in Afghanistan.
