The top court said this while hearing a batch of petitions concerning influencers, podcasters and YouTubers, including Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahabadia, who recently made headlines for their remarks during the online show India's Got Latent. The Supreme Court asked the union government to come up with a set of balanced regulatory guidelines to curb obscenity and offensive content on YouTube and social media but instructed that this must be done without crossing into censorship.<h2>The central government is to come up with a regulatory framework</h2>The court noted that if there was a race between Article 19 (free speech) and Article 21 (right to life with dignity", the right to a dignified life would trump that to express freely. "The right to dignity emanates from the same Constitution which the other people cite to protect their right to speech. Article 19 (freedom of speech and expression) cannot prevail over Article 21 (right to life and dignity). This is what it has to be. If there is a race between Articles 19 and 21, Article 21 has to trump Article 19".While instructing the union government to come up with a balanced regulatory framework, the Supreme Court of India emphasised that the framework must not only define the boundaries of free speech but also define the obligations that come with the right. It said that the guidelines must take care of both the freedom and the limits where the rights end and duties start: "At the same time, we will be careful with the guidelines. Something approved by the court has to be for posterity, and we have to remain cognizant that they cannot be misused. State’s power needs to be balanced with citizens’ rights. We have to protect the citizens’ rights but at the same time we have to ensure this does not end up trampling upon fellow citizens' rights".SC gave the government time to propose the guidelines while noting that any regulatory framework must be in line with "constitutional principles" and said, "We will invite open debates on these guidelines. Stakeholders, including members of the bar, may give their viewpoints".

He, the book says, commented after the slaughter: “We have succeeded in occupying several forts and towns belonging to the infidels and have established Islam there... With the help of our bloodthirsty sword, we have erased the signs of infidelity from their minds and have destroyed temples in those places and also all over Hindustan.”&nbsp;It further said that&nbsp;Akbar abolished the jizya, welcomed Rajput nobles to his court, and promoted sulh-i-kul - or "peace with all". Altaf claimed she had been feeling nauseated due to the bus's movement.&nbsp;The crime came to light when a passerby noticed the body of the child on the road and informed the police, who tracked the baby to the bus.&nbsp;A police team intercepted the bus and later took Ritika Dhere and Altaf Shaikh into custody after questioning them.&nbsp;The couple said they dumped the newborn as they were not in a position to raise the child.&nbsp;The police said they were not able to prove that they were husband and wife. We will pay no tariffs. They are giving us access into Indonesia, which we never had. &nbsp;Trump’s comments come at a time when a team of officials from India’s commerce ministry are in the US for trade deal talks. The officials arrived in the US on Monday and India’s chief negotiator Rajesh Agarwal is likely to reach Washington on Wednesday, said reports.&nbsp;&nbsp;India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said recently that India-US trade deal talks are progressing at a ‘fast pace’. “Negotiations are going on at a very fast pace and in the spirit of mutual cooperation so that we can come out with a win-win trade-complementing agreement with the United States,” Goyal said.&nbsp;As per reports, the Trump administration is mulling a trade deal in which India will likely face tariffs of less than 20%, down from the 26% announced by Trump in April.&nbsp;Trump has set a fresh deadline of August 1, 2025 for reciprocal tariffs to be effective. Since last week, he has been sending tariff letters to various US trading partners, and over 20 countries have received a tariff letter.

New Delhi described the move to demolish the “landmark” building in Mymensingh as a matter of “profound regret” and urged Dhaka to convert it into a museum symbolising shared culture of the two countries and pledged to extend cooperation for it. She said the demolition of such a place was “heartbreaking”. “I learnt from media reports that the memory-entwined ancestral house of renowned writer-editor Upendrakishore Roychowdhury in Bangladesh’s Mymensingh city is being demolished. The reports say that the demolition process had already begun. This is heartbreaking news. The Ray family is one of the most prominent torchbearers of Bengal’s culture,” Banerjee wrote on X.&nbsp;The house had fallen into disrepair and had been left unused for nearly a decade. It previously housed the Mymensingh Shishu Academy but was later abandoned.

He contended that despite a bare reading of the facts stated in the FIR shows that the informant was in relationship with the petitioner for the last five years.&nbsp;She remained silent for a very long time and as when the petitioner was chosen in the Indian cricket team, the FIR with an oblique motive was filed for extorting harsh and arbitrary demands, the counsel added. ISRO took up this mission to gather experience that will help us in our Gaganyaan programme," said Desai.&nbsp;He said that before sending an Indian astronaut aboard the Gaganyaan spacecraft, the space agency will send three unmanned flights.&nbsp;"As part of our programme, we will launch an unmanned mission this year, followed by two more unmanned flights. After that, an Indian astronaut will be sent into space onboard the Gaganyaan spacecraft. The astronaut will stay in space for two to seven days and return to Earth. "As part of our programme, we will launch an unmanned mission this year, followed by two more unmanned flights. After that, an Indian astronaut will be sent into space onboard the Gaganyaan spacecraft. The astronaut will stay in space for two to seven days and return to Earth. The experience gained by Shubanshu Shukla during his time on the ISS will be extremely valuable for the Gaganyaan programme planned over the next two years," he said. Desai said Rs 600 crore was spent by India on the Axiom mission. "Around Rs 600 crore were spent on this mission, covering training for two astronauts and other space journey preparations. The insights gained after 15 days in space will help us enhance the success of the Gaganyaan mission," Desai mentioned. But the SC clarified the importance of due diligence, including verifying the legitimacy of the property’s title and ensuring that all relevant documentation is in place.&nbsp;The ruling said the actual physical;l control of the building is the vital element of ownership. The income tax department is attempting to find out where these currency notes are being sent.&nbsp;According to the rules, Rs 2000 notes can now be deposited only in the RBI office and post offices. An individual can only exchange up to Rs 30000. The post offices on the Nepal border are under investigation by the Income Tax Department.&nbsp;The department is probing who are the people that exchanged Rs 2000 notes over the past few years. The Income Tax Department is collecting this data. There is a possibility of fake identity cards being used by the people who exchanged these notes.&nbsp;The Income Tax Department sent some private individuals with Rs 2000 notes to Nepal for an in-depth investigation. They found that the notes were being exchanged without any problems.
