In the last two fiscals, India had recorded growth of 6.5 per cent and 9.2 per cent.</p><h3>The economy of India remains robust</h3><p>The data indicated that the economy of India remains robust at a time of global uncertainty, supported by a resilient services sector, raising investment and focused government spending. Industry executives stated that the twin measures assisted in reviving demand by including more disposable income in the hands of consumers and reducing the everyday cost of goods.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The data also showed that real Gross Value Added (GVA) is projected to rise by 7.3 per cent in FY26, compared with 6.4 per cent in FY25. Meanwhile, nominal GVA growth is expected to slow to 7.7 per cent this fiscal from 9.3 per cent in the previous year. Government expenditure is forecast to increase by 5.2 per cent in 2025–26, up sharply from a 2.3 per cent rise last year.</p>

The lab, cleverly camouflaged as a food and pharmaceutical testing facility, was unearthed by the Special Operations Group (SOG), leading to the arrest of three accused. 

Police say the operation was being controlled by a mastermind currently based in London.

However, inside, officers discovered a fully functional drug manufacturing setup equipped with reactors, advanced machinery and hazardous chemicals used to produce high-purity MD drugs.

Police seized narcotics worth approximately Rs 2.92 lakh, along with raw materials and sophisticated equipment used in the illegal operation. 

Three persons linked to the manufacturing unit were taken into custody, while efforts are underway to trace the supply chain and distribution network.

According to officials, the operation was carried out based on specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of a terrorist hideout in the area.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Troops of 47 Rashtriya Rifles, 31 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), and 8 Sector Rashtriya Rifles jointly launched the search operation in the general area of Putusai, which falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sogam. The area was first cordoned off to prevent any movement, following which a thorough search was conducted. The operation began in the morning hours and continued till the evening amid tight security arrangements.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>During the systematic search of the area, security forces detected and busted a concealed hideout used by terrorists to store arms and ammunition. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS)and sniffer dog units were rushed to the court complex, where detailed anti-sabotage checks were carried out.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Police cordoned off the area while security personnel conducted systematic searches of the building.

A similar threat was also reported at the Gandhinagar Collectorâ€™s office, leading to the evacuation of the entire premises.
