Delhi Police Crime Branch on Thursday began questioning 25 people in CBSE paper leak case including 18 students and 5 tutors
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chief Anita Karwal on Thursday said that the decision to hold re-examination for the Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics subjects was taken in "favour of the students".
"We have taken a decision in favour of the students. We are working for their good. Dates for re-examination will be announced soon," Karwal told ANI.
Meanwhile, the Delhi unit of All India Democratic Students' Organisation demanded a high-level probe into the CBSE question paper leak case, and said that the incident showed the board's utter negligence in conducting examinations fairly.

The Delhi Police conducted raids at a coaching centre in New Delhi's Rajinder Nagar in connection with the CBSE Class X and Class XII exam paper leak, reports said on Thursday.

The CBSE, in a complaint to the Delhi Police, said that it received a fax on 23 March naming a person who ran a coaching institute in Sector 8, Rajinder Nagar as the person responsible for the exam paper leak, reported ANI.
Police were trying to establish the trail — who leaked the paper, how was it transmitted and who were the beneficiaries, special commissioner of police (crime branch) RP Upadhyaya said.
The papers of the Economics exam of class 12 held on March 26 and Maths exam of class 10 held on March 28 were leaked on social media hours before the examination.
