'Veere Di Wedding' gang reunites to shoot a special song with Farah Khan

Four months after Shashanka Ghosh wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Veere Di Wedding in Phuket, the cast of the film- comprising of Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania- reunited on Wednesday to shoot a special song for the film with ace choreographer Farah Khan.

Titled 'Tareefan'- the gender-bending song, which marks Sonam’s reunion with rapper Badshah after 'Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai” from Khoobsurat, will reportedly see protagonists parody roles typically reserved for men. 

“Tareefan means compliments in Punjabi. The song will have an urban vibe. I will not only be rapping but also singing for the first time. Qaran Mehta is the music director while I have co-written the lyrics. The treatment of this dance number is completely different from the ones I have done before,” Badshah a leading daily.

The girl gang has already shot for the song and posted photos on Instagram with Farah Khan, Baadhshah is likely to shoot the remaining part of the song on Thursday.

'Veere Di Wedding' also stars Sumeet Vyas and is schedule to release in theatres on June 1. The film's first teaser is likely to come out on 19th April.
