Ryan school murder case: Accused juvenile's bail plea rejected

The Gurugram court on Friday rejected the bail plea of the juvenile accused in the alleged murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur in Gurgaon's Ryan's International School.
On Wednesday, the Juvenile Justice Board had allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation to take fingerprints of the 16-year-old accused.
The Class 11 student, who allegedly wanted to postpone a parent-teacher meeting and exams, was arrested by the CBI after they did not find any evidence against the bus conductor Ashok Kumar, who was the Gurgaon Police's sole accused in the gruesome killing.
Pradyuman, a class 2 student, was found lying in a pool with his throat slit inside the school's washroom on the morning of September 8.
The killing resulted in public outrage with people protesting against the school authorities and the owners for the negligence.
