Days before the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate Medical Courses (NEET PG) 2024, social media posts have surfaced alleging a possible paper leak.
With less than five days until the NEET PG 2024 exam, scheduled for August 11, aspirants are becoming increasingly concerned about alleged instances of the exam question papers being sold on various social media platforms.
Social media users are sharing screenshots of text chainsfrom specific Telegram channels about the NEET PG paper leak.
Screenshots shared by users on X reveal the existence of several Telegram groups and channels named "NEET PG Leaked Materials." These groups are reportedly offering leaked exam papers for both shifts at exorbitant prices, with claims of charges up to Rs 70,000.

Dr. Dhruv Chauhan, an X user, shared multiple screenshots of groups where there was talk about the NEET PG 2024 paper leak, saying, "Hundreds of Telegram pages claiming to sell NEET PG papers; these frauds should be on the radar of the Cybercrime and Intelligence Bureau because they may or may not have the papers, this requires investigation."
"Most probably these paper leak gangs will turn out to be frauds, and students paying lakhs will score ducks in exams. "Jamtara gangs" are actively calling all students, offering them paper. An old saying - wherever there are greedy people around, frauds never sleep on an empty stomach," one user commented under the post.
"This is always the case, has always been. The ones turning deaf ears to our cries must very well be involved too, hence their silence. I don't think there's any more faith to be lost, it's all gone," wrote another.
"Scam...who says in public that I have "leaked" paper? Anyone can join the group, don't they feel fear of nbe member joining the group.. & these photos have been on Twitter since so many days, is nbe Blind?," wrote a third user.
Originally planned for June, the NEET PG 2024 exam was rescheduled to August due to disruptions involving the NEET UG and UGC NET exams.
The UGC NET exam faced cancellation just two days after its initial date, while NEET PG was cancelled only 12 hours before it was scheduled. The National Board of Education (NBE) is now conducting NEET PG 2024 on August 11.
However, students have expressed frustration over the "random" allocation of exam centres, with some reporting that their centres are located 800-1,000 kilometres away from their homes. The NEET PG 2024 admit card, which will be released on August 8, will include the specific details of each candidate's exam venue.
