The Takhat Sri Patna Sahib Gurdwara is a significant place for the followers of Sikhism as it is the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru.

In the 18th century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh commissioned the construction of the gurudwara to mark Guru Gobind Singh's birthplace.
