1,362 new positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra in the past 24 hours.
As the lockdown 3.0 is in action, the number of positive coronavirus cases have not decreased.
1,362 new positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra in the past 24 hours. This has taken Maharashtra's total number of positive cases to 18,120.
Mumbai has crossed the 11,000 mark as 692 new cases were reported. 25 deaths were also reported, taking the death toll to 437, according to BMC.
72 inmates and seven staff members of Mumbai's Arthur Road prison, too, have tested positive on Thursday. The inmates will be shifted to GT Hospital and St. George Hospital tomorrow separately.
Dharavi, which has been one of the worst-affected areas of India, has reported 50 new positive coronavirus cases, taking the total cases to 783. The death toll remains 21, as no new death has been reported, according to the BMC.
Delhi has reported 448 new cases, taking the toll to 5,980. However, four areas have been removed from the from containment list. There are 83 COVID- 19 containment zones in the capital now.
Gujarat has reported 388 new positive cases, taking the toll to 7,013. Madhya Pradesh, too has reported 114 new cases, which makes the total number of cases 3,252 in the state. 110 new cases have been reported in Rajasthan, taking the tally to 3,427 including 99 total deaths.
Uttar Pradesh has been one of the worst-hit states. It reported 73 new cases on Thursday, taking the total toll to 3,071 cases. Punjab, now, has 1,644 positive cases as 118 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
West bengal has reported 92 new cases which takes the toll to 1,548, including 79 deaths. Haryana government reported 31 news cases, which has taken the total toll to 625 positive cases in the state.
Telangana's total toll has increased to 1,122 as 15 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours. Seven new cases have been reported in Ganjam, taking the toll of Odisha to 219, according to the state ministry.
