Kashmir Valley is witnessing a never-seen-before change in this parliamentary election. Hundreds of political workersalongwithpoliticianshave been campaigning and holding rallies across Srinagar city. But what is happening for the first time in decades is thathordeof people were gatheredatSrinagar'sGhanta Ghar area in Lal Chowk.

Hundreds of People Democratic Party workers held a unique election campaign atSrinagar'sGhanta Ghar. These political workers created an atmosphere of election celebration by sloganeering and dancing at the historic Lal Chowk area.

The election battle hasnowshifted from the Anantnag constituency to the Srinagar parliamentary constituency.From the historic Clock Tower to the District Election Office,supporters of various political partieswere seensloganeering and dancing with their respective candidates.

Earlier, Jammu and Kashmirused to witnees hartals and curfews duringelections.But the current situation is absolutely differentt. Peoplein hundreds are attending electioncampaigns of various political parties across the valley.

Districts like Shopian and Pulwama, which were once considered the most volatile and had the maximum number of active terrorists, are witnessing the same zeal and enthusiasm this election. Hundreds of people in these areas are participating in the election campaigns.
