The Devil Wears Prada 2 has gotten an official release date. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt will reprise their roles in the highly anticipated sequel. The movie is taking the May release slot of Avengers: Doomsday, which was postponed to December.

What is The Devil Wears Prada about?

The 2006 comedy is based on the best-selling book by Lauren Weisberger. The movie follows Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, an idealistic journalist who finds herself working as the new personal assistant of Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep, the cut-throat and demanding editor of a fashion magazine.

David Frankel, who directed part one, will be returning to direct the sequel. Joining him will be Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote the screenplay for the original, to work on the script for the sequel.

Will the sequel be an adaption of the second book?

Now we don't have much to go on regarding the plot of the sequel. It may be an adaptation of the second book in the series, Revenge Wears Prada, which is set ten years after the events of the first book.
Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, comes at a time when Bollywood has almost forgotten to make romantic comedies. In a world infested with spy-verses and Pan-India south actioners, Bhool Chuk Maaf reminds you of the years of Ayushmann-Rajkummar supremacy when these two actors featured in feel-good slice-of-life romantic comedies, delivering pertinent societal messages along the way. Paresh Rawal's sudden exit from Hera Pheri 3 came as a shock to Bollywood fans. The movie is the third instalment in the beloved comedy franchise. Hera Pheri 3 started production in April with the original cast of Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles and Priyadarshan returning to direct. But Paresh Rawal left the project weeks into filming and stated via X that he did not leave the project due to creative or financial issues and that he had the utmost respect and love for Priyadarshan. Fashion has no boundaries, and this is something that all the fashion aficionados are well aware of. However, time and again, fashion houses have become the talk of the internet with their out-of-the-box creations, often leaving the internet in shock. Or, if you still want to buy the bag, it will not cost you more than a hundred bucks in India. Yet, the bag has been sold for $48 (Rs 4,228) on the American luxury retailer Nordstrom's website.

Following the screening, there will be an intimate conversation with Siddiqui and writer-director Aditya Kripalani. “We are so excited about this. It is a film about acting, so for it to go to a prestigious establishment like this is a huge honour,” says Kripalani. Siddiqui, trained in method acting, will also conduct a special masterclass on his process and the various interpretations of the craft. “As artistes, we feel bankers have it easy... I want to debunk these labels,” adds Kripalani, challenging narrow perceptions of professions and identity.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s recent film Costao received critical acclaim, further cementing his reputation as a powerhouse performer. The actor has several exciting projects lined up and is currently shooting for them. He will next be seen in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy Thama, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Main Actor Nahin Hoon to be screened at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most legendary actors in Indian cinema, known for consistently delivering legendary performances on screen. Watching him perform is nothing short of a masterclass in acting itself. His ability to transform into characters with depth and authenticity has earned him immense respect, with many of his roles leaving a lasting impact on audiences for years. Now, his film Main Actor Nahin Hoon (I Am Not an Actor) is creating quite the buzz. After making waves at the New York Indian Film Festival, the film will now be screened at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute — a place that has shaped generations of performers. Main Actor Nahin Hoon revolves around a retired banker-turned-aspiring actor—played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui—who connects virtually with a professional actor for acting lessons. The film also stars Chitrangada Satarupa and Naveen Kasturia, alongside Ayushi Gupta, Yasir Iftikhar Khan, Meenakshi Arundhati, and Vibhawari Deshpande. The film will be screened exclusively for current students and alumni of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute on June 24.

Was it more nerve-racking or magical? Or both at once?

Nitanshi Goel: It was definitely both nerve-racking and magical at the same time! The toughest part was probably managing the pace of it all — the schedule moves fast, and there’s so much happening at once. But the easiest and most heartwarming part was meeting fellow creatives from all over the world. Everyone was there for the love of cinema, and that made every interaction feel natural and inspiring. There were moments I felt a bit overwhelmed, but they were always followed by a spark of pure magic, like watching a brilliant film or having a conversation that reminded me why I love what I do.

WION: If you could freeze one second from your Cannes experience forever, which one would it be?

Nitanshi Goel: If I could freeze one second, it would be right at the top of the red carpet stairs. I paused, took a deep breath, and just soaked it all in. That one moment, where the world felt still, held so much emotion. It was a mix of pride, excitement, and deep thankfulness. I wasn’t thinking about cameras or anything external, just fully present, feeling connected to the moment, to my roots, and to the dream that brought me there. That second was everything.

WION: How did you pick that iconic outfit—and how did it make you feel?

Nitanshi Goel: The gown was chosen with so much thought and love. My team and I really wanted something that felt like me — elegant but effortless, something that spoke without shouting. When I first saw the gown, I felt an instant calm, like, “this is the one.” Wearing it, I felt grounded and powerful. It moved beautifully, and more than the look, it was about how it made me feel: confident, proud, and very present. It felt like a quiet celebration of this milestone, wrapped in black and gold.

WION: What’s the first thing you did after walking the red carpet? - Call home, food or selfie?

Nitanshi Goel: The first thing I did was smile, a big, goofy, relieved smile, with my team and my mum. We exchanged this look like, “We did it!” After that, I couldn’t wait to call home. I just wanted to hear familiar voices, share the feeling, even if words couldn’t do justice to what I’d just experienced. Later, I did sneak in a little snack. I was too happy to remember I was hungry before that!

WION: One moment from Cannes that gave you chills (the good kind)?

Nitanshi Goel: There was this one moment, just as the sun was setting and the lights started to glow along the coastline, that gave me the absolute good kind of chills. The atmosphere was so alive, people were speaking all kinds of languages, and yet there was this shared energy for cinema. I remember looking around and feeling so connected, like I was part of something truly special. That feeling will always stay with me.
