It's their first time at Parliament and so the excitement is but natural. As newly-elected MPs of Trinamool Congress Party, Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan, posted photos outside Parliament, a certain section of social media was up in arms about their posts and even raised an objection about their attire.
On Monday, both Mimi and Nusrat, well-known stars in Bengali films, posted photos outside Parliament. Dressed in western outfits, the two posed outside Parliament and flashed their new ID cards and flashed the victory sign. But the two actresses were subjected to bitter trolling with many questioning their credentials as politicians.
And its us again

Some even remarked about the choice of the attire and commented on Mimi's photo saying, "This is not a film shooting."

On Nusrat's post, someone wrote, "This is not a place for a photoshoot. This is a place where you should fight for the people's rights and legislate for the country. You don't belong here."

Interestingly, Mimi Chakraborty defeated veteran CPIM leader and former Kolkata mayor Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya with a huge margin in Jadavpur constituency while Nusrat too won with a massive mandate in Basirhat constituency.
