The DOWNFALL continues... #ThugsOfHindostan gets weaker with each passing day... With biz declining further on Day 3 [Sat], the writing is clear on the wall... Will find it tough to sustain from Day 5 [Mon] onwards... #TOH— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) November 11, 2018
Produced by YRF, the film has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs 300 crores. It was Khan's big release post the humungous success of 'Dangal' that came in 2016.
The biggest slump was noticed from Thursday to Friday-a decline of 44.33%. Friday to Saturday also saw a decline of 19.47%. This is the Hindi business alone.
Interestingly the film, according to its producers, has broken a few records since its release. It is the highest all-time opening, the first film to cross Rs 50 crore in one day, the biggest single-day collection ever, the biggest Diwali opener of all time and YRF’s highest ever opening.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
